Will Gabe Davis Play in Week 4? (2022 Fantasy Football)

After missing Week 2 with an ankle injury, Gabe Davis returned in Week 3 to turn in an uninspiring performance, catching three of his six targets for 37 yards in Buffalo’s loss to the Dolphins. However, that ankle injury has proven to be a lingering one, as he has dealt with it in practice all week heading into Week 4. The wideout has proven that he can be a productive fantasy player as the second option for the highest-drafted fantasy quarterback this season in Josh Allen. But will Davis suit up again in Week 4 or will he have to miss his second week of the year with the ankle injury? Here’s what we know.

Gabe Davis (ankle) questionable for Week 4

Bills wide receiver Gabe Davis (ankle) is officially listed as questionable for Week 4.

Fantasy Impact

Davis was limited on Friday but told the media that he will play. Assuming he does suit up, the up-and-coming wideout should be viewed as a high-end WR3 in fantasy football.

What the Experts are Saying

Gabriel Davis’ role in the Bill offense is top-notch. He ran a route on 96% of dropbacks in Week 3 on a bummed ankle, but the targets weren’t there. Just six targets, which ranked fourth on the team. But you should buy the dip. Let DeVonta Smith‘s high-end route participation in a high-powered offense be a reminder that these types of players don’t stay quiet for very long even if they are coming off a bad game. Nobody would be batting an eye at Big Gabe had he not dropped a touchdown versus the Dolphins. Start him.
