Shane McClanahan Over 6.0 Strikeouts

McClanahan has struck out 82 batters this season, and he managed to strike out at least six in 10 of his 12 starts. Of course, with this number being set right at six, there is always the chance of a push. But considering his success this year, there is a much better chance of him going over this number rather than under.

McClanahan is allowing a batting average of .265 against current Red Sox batters, and he’s struck out 18 in 68 at-bats. That’s the same number of hits he’s allowed. Way back on April 11th, he struck out nine Red Sox batters and only pitched 5.0 innings, which was tied for his second-shortest outing of the season. If he goes deeper into this game, he will hit this number with ease.
