3 Best Fantasy Football Draft Values on ESPN Leagues (2023 ADP)

3 Best Fantasy Football Draft Values on ESPN Leagues (2023 ADP)

Last month, we took a look at some of my favorite value players for those in ESPN fantasy football leagues. Now it’s July, and mock draft season is upon us. That means we’ll have more valuable data as more fantasy leagues continue to conduct drafts as the summer transpires.

I took a look at our ADP (Average Draft Position) tool to determine players that present values on ESPN. The tool combines the updated ADP for different sites along with our latest Expert Consensus Rankings (ECR) to provide players to target and avoid based on average draft position. You can also use our mock draft simulator to sync your league and complete fantasy football mock drafts against the current ADP of your league host.

Best ADP Values on ESPN

Nick Chubb (RB – CLE)

If I’m sitting with a late first-round pick, I am absolutely licking my chops. Chubb (and Josh Jacobs, for that matter) are way underrated on ESPN. Chubb might be the most reliable tailback in the league when healthy, but he’s being drafted 18th overall on average, which represents a mid-second-round pick in 12-team leagues.

So it begs the question: Why isn’t Nick Chubb a first-round pick? You can’t deny his talent. You can’t deny the workload. And you can’t argue for anyone else in his backfield now that Kareem Hunt is a free agent.

If Chubb continues to be disrespected, I’ll gladly scoop him up on the turn into Round 2 if I’m picking later on in Round 1.

Rhamondre Stevenson (RB – NE)

I figured Stevenson would enter the 2023 draft season as one of the most hyped players in fantasy. So I was surprised he was going 35th overall on average in ESPN PPR drafts. Stevenson has the makings of a true three-down back, something you won’t see much of near the end of Round 3. In 2023, Stevenson could see more of a bell-cow workload too, which has me even more excited for his potential in his third season.

I would much rather take Stevenson over the guys he’s being drafted around, such as Aaron Jones, Najee Harris, Joe Mixon, Jahmyr Gibbs, and perhaps even Breece Hall.

J.K. Dobbins (RB – BAL)

I get the hesitation among fantasy players when it comes to Dobbins. He’s done nothing but disappoint us throughout his young career, but that’s mostly been due to injuries. Dobbins will enter this season fully healthy, and he showed what he can do over the final four games of the season, rushing for 397 yards and a score.

The hope is that Baltimore’s new offense, led by new OC Todd Monken, results in more designed passes to the running backs, something that could further boost Dobbins’ fantasy value.

Dobbins is being drafted 75th overall in drafts right now, making him an early sixth-round pick. That’s far too low for a player with loads of upside.
