Kendre Miller passes physical for New Orleans
Kendre Miller passed a physical on Monday for the Saints. This is an encouraging step for him to join the active roster.?
Fantasy Impact
Miller originally suffered a knee injury right at the end of the college football season which has kept him out of practice so far. But, this is great news for the TCU back. ?If healthy Miller may see some early season work with Alvin Kamara‘s likely suspension behind Jamaal Williams. As for now, he’s a dart throw at best in fantasy drafts.
Garrett Ball
C.J. Stroud signs rookie contract
The Texans and C.J. Stroud have agreed to a four-year rookie contract, worth $36.3M overall.
Fantasy Impact
Stroud’s deal includes a $23.38M signing bonus. The second overall pick in the draft will now turn his focus to winning the starting quarterback job in training camp. Stroud will likely have his ups and downs as he develops in his rookie season, but he currently ranks as QB26 in ECR according to FantasyPros.
Jesse Garcia
Anthony Richardson agrees to rookie deal
Anthony Richardson has agreed to his rookie deal, which includes an upfront signing bonus of $21.72 million.
Fantasy Impact
Richardson is being drafted as QB16 according to FantasyPros consensus ADP despite not being named the Week 1 starter yet, although he should have no issue eventually beating out Gardner Minshew. After spending the fourth overall pick on Richardson, the Colts will surely want to deploy him as soon as possible to take advantage of the ceiling his off-the-chart athleticism can provide.
