CJ Stroud continues to be listed as the starting QB for the Texans on their unofficial depth chart
Fantasy Impact
CJ Stroud is expected to come in and prove why he was the second overall pick in this year’s draft. In two preseason games, he has shown flashes mixed with typical rookie growing pains. Stroud is currently going as the QB26 in drafts and boasts a low floor to go with a high ceiling because of the unknowns surrounding his personal development and the Texans’ offense as a whole.

Elijah Moore expected to be a ‘big part of offense’
Elijah Moore is expected to be a “big part of the offense” per head coach Kevin Stefanski. In the limited time the Browns starters played preseason action so far, Moore caught one of Deshaun Watson‘s three passes and took one carry for 18 yards.
Fantasy Impact
While his in-game preseason workload has been light, to say the least, Moore has been heavily involved in Cleveland’s practice sessions all throughout training camp. Moore is a talented young wideout with the potential to be Watson’s No.2 target in the passing game behind Amari Cooper. He’s a solid mid-to-late round selection in drafts.

Sam Howell throws for 188 yards and two touchdowns in Monday night victory
Sam Howell completed 19 of his 25 pass attempts for 188 yards and two scores in Washington’s win over Baltimore. He added three carries for 17 yards.
Fantasy Impact
Howell was officially named the starting QB for Washington last Friday, and played like a veteran on Monday night. He was efficient in both preseason contests, showcasing his chemistry with Jahan Dotson. Howell should be capable of providing streamer value for fantasy teams throughout the season.
