Zamir White listed as Raiders’ top RB amid Jacobs’ absence
The Las Vegas Raiders listed second-year RB Zamir White as their top back on their first unofficial depth chart amid Josh Jacobs‘ absence.
Fantasy Impact
The unofficial depth charts are mandated by the NFL but typically bare no real significance or overreaction. However, while Jacobs is in the middle of his dispute with the Raiders’ front office, White being listed as the team’s RB1 can be interpreted as a show of confidence in the young RB to start over the other veteran RBs on the roster, if Jacobs were to miss time, that is. White was listed above RBs Ameer Abdullah, Brandon Bolden, Brittain Brown and Sincere McCormick.

Baker Mayfield listed as co-starter on first depth chart
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ initial depth chart lists QB Baker Mayfield as the team’s co-starter heading into their first preseason game.
Fantasy Impact
Mayfield and Trask have been in a head-to-head competition for the starting gig in Tampa. Despite having 69 career starts to Trask’s zero, Mayfield’s offseason struggles have kept the battle close. Mayfield will likely get some genuine playing time in the preseason as the coaches continue to parse out who will start this season in Week 1. Tampa Bay plays the Steelers on Friday, August 11.

De’Von Achane back at practice Tuesday
De’Von Achane was back at practice on Tuesday after being labeled “day-to-day” with an undisclosed injury and missed Saturday’s practice.
Fantasy Impact
The injury Achane suffered wasn’t believed to be serious. With his return on Tuesday, it’s possible the injury was nothing more than a stinger. Assuming he stays healthy for the rest of camp, he will have plenty of time to prepare for the season and learn the offense.

Jonathan Taylor away from Colts on excused absence.
Jonathan Taylor will be away from the Colts on an excused absence. When he will return is unknown.
Fantasy Impact
Taylor is in the midst of a contract disagreement with the Colts and owner Jim Irsay. It’s unlikely Taylor is gone for much longer than training camp, as he has little leverage in his contract situation. Fantasy managers should be much more concerned about the contract talks than the absence.
