View More NotesThere may have been a lot of predictions that we got wrong this offseason, but the Dolphins struggling was not one of them. Despite going against a very tame Raiders' defense, this offense struggled to maintain drives. As a result, Achane was held to 36 yards on 11 carries. Add in the fact that Malik Willis rushed six times for 39 yards, and consistent usage may be hard to come by on this offense. That said, Achane can come through in the receiving game. Catching two of his four receptions on the opening drive was a great sign. It's hard to see the touchdown upside, but Achane has the talent to come through if he is given the opportunity. Unfortunately, it's going to be tough this week against the 49ers who dominated the Rams defense. Our best hope for Achane is if the 49ers are Jet-Lagged and come out slow this week.

Fantasy Impact
Achane's touches went up in Week 2, but his efficiency in the Dolphins' anemic offense was about the same. The dual-threat back has yet to find the end zone through two games while averaging just 3.5 yards per carry. He's best viewed as an RB2 for now, with his volume of touches being the main reason. Achane has a tough matchup coming against the Chiefs.
