Dak Prescott unlikely to play in the preseason

Dak Prescott is unlikely to play in the preseason, although Mike McCarthy has not finalized that decision.

Fantasy Impact

The Cowboys will likely turn to Cooper Rush and Will Grier to play the majority of the preseason snaps with Prescott unlikely to play. Fantasy managers should keep an eye on practice reports to see how Prescott is taking to the new offensive system.

Cade Otton excited about new Bucs offense

Cade Otton is excited about the new Bucs offense and stepping into a leadership role as the new Tampa Bay TE1.

Fantasy Impact

Even though he is the TE1, his fantasy impact may be minimal depending on who wins the QB job. The 24-year-old had hauled in 42 catches for 391 yards and two TD.

Josh Jacobs receiving interest from Broncos and Chiefs

Josh Jacobs is receiving interest from AFC West rivals Denver and Kansas City should his franchise tag be rescinded. There are several options on the table for the Raiders among them including Jacobs returning, a reworked one-year deal, and Vegas rescinding the tag which would make Jacobs a free agent.

Fantasy Impact

While unlikely, the possibility is there. Las Vegas is a team that could implode quickly should things go wrong, releasing Jacobs would jump-start that process and improve their chances at a top pick. Denver is a much less appealing fantasy destination for Jacobs than Kansas City, where he would be the unquestioned top option in the running game. Jacobs is already being drafted among the top fantasy running backs, and it’s unlikely a move would raise his ceiling higher than it already is. If anything, it may hurt it.
