Week 4 has arrived! Unfortunately, the injury watch for fantasy managers is also here. Austin Ekeler (ankle) listed as doubtful for Week 4
Los Angeles Chargers RB Austin Ekeler is doubtful to play in Week 4, setting him up for a potential return in Week 6 following their bye.
This should have been expected; while Ekeler was limited all week, he wasn’t at 100%. With the Chargers facing a Week 5 bye, it made the most sense to let him sit. Despite some optimism for Joshua Kelley as a fantasy asset in Weeks 2 and 3, he seems like nothing more than a desperation play after consecutive duds, as the Chargers have focused their sans-Ekeler offense on the passing game.
