RB - LAC
Week 7 Outlook
Expert NoteView More Notes
Kelley didn't inherit as much of the workload as we may have expected heading into their matchup with New Orleans, but that doesn't mean that he's not a solid start here against Jacksonville. Kelley still projects to be the goal line back and he should see plenty of scoring opportunities against the Jags run defense. Kelley can be viewed as a high-end RB3 with upside in this one.

Joshua Kelley gets 38 total yards in loss to Saints
Joshua Kelley carried the ball 11 times for 29 yards and added one reception for nine yards in a 30-27 loss to the New Orleans Saints.
Justin Jackson out-touched Kelley 20:12 in what was the first game without Austin Ekeler. Most beat writers and analysts assumed that rookie Kelley would get a bulk of the carries, but he could not find much running room against a tough New Orleans front line. Fantasy managers shouldn't panic yet, as Kelley is still primed for an opportunity in LA's RBBC system. However, he falls back down to flex territory since he's facing competition with Justin Jackson.
