Fantasy Football Week 10 Bold Predictions

What is one bold fantasy prediction (player related) for the upcoming week and why could it happen?

“Tony Pollard is the RB1 in Week 10. The former Memphis star has been awful lately, scoring fewer than 7.9 half-point PPR fantasy points in four of his past five games. However, he has been a buy-low target for me for the past few weeks because of his upcoming schedule. Pollard faces the New York Giants in Week 10. New York has surrendered 21.8 fantasy points per game to running backs, the sixth-most in the NFL. Last week, Josh Jacobs was the RB2 with 98 rushing yards, two touchdowns, and 21.8 fantasy points against the Giants. Pollard should have a similar performance.”

“Tony Pollard finally breaks out of his slump, has a monster game, and finishes RB1 on the week. Pollard hasn’t been as explosive and efficient this year but the workload has been great. He gets to face a reeling New York Giants team and the Dallas Cowboys have the highest implied team total at 28.5 points this week. Positive TD regression is coming in a big way for Tony Pollard.”

The Cardinals are saying that his running will not be hindered, which was a fear. He was a top scoring quarterback prior to the injury and will come back against a Falcons defense who just let Josh Dobbs get traded to Minnesota a few days prior and put up 31 points! Kyler will be unleashed and show why he is a top flight quarterback.”

“DK Metcalf is about to set the field on fire, torching the Washington Commanders’ defense in a jaw-dropping performance. Washington’s pass defense is horrible as the 3rd-worst defense against fantasy wide receivers this season. In 8 healthy games this year, Metcalf still leads the Seahawks in receiving yards. Also has seen 8-plus targets in three of his last 5 games. By the end of this Week 10 showdown, Metcalf will have accumulated a jaw-dropping stat line, easily surpassing 150 receiving yards and notching not one, not two, but three touchdowns. His performance will leave fans, analysts, and fantasy owners alike astounded and serve as a reminder that when Metcalf is on the field, the extraordinary is always within reach.”

The Raiders have struggled all year in pass protection and now they have to take on one of the best defenses in the NFL, the Jets. “Mike Gesicki has 50+ receiving yards and a touchdown against the Colts. Gesicki quietly had a huge uptick in snap share (86%) and routes run (41) last week, as the WR-depleted Patriots made heavy use of two-TE sets. Gesicki was targeted only twice and had no receptions, but the usage spike portends bigger and better things for the sixth-year tight end, who played for Patriots offensive coordinator Bill O’Brien when O’Brien was the head coach at Penn State. Gesicki has a nice Week 10 matchup against a Colts defense that has yielded the fifth-most receiving yards and seventh-most fantasy points to tight ends.”
