Kirk Cousins, Broncos not expected to pursue deal
The Denver Broncos are not expected to pursue a deal with QB Kirk Cousins despite internal conversations about approaching such a move if he hits free agency.
Fantasy Impact
Some reports are indicating that the Broncos are not expected to be big-game hunters in free agency under center and may opt to approach the season with QB Jarrett Stidham and either a draft pick or another bridge QB, eating their cap struggles and rolling with the punches. Cousins is now expected to test his free agency market. A deal with Denver did not seem like an option realistically considering their current money situation.

Josh Jacobs returning to Raiders ‘not off the table’
A return to Las Vegas for Josh Jacobs is not considered off the table, according to a report from ESPN.
Fantasy Impact
Jacobs had a down season with a career-low 3.5 yards per carry in 2023 while playing on the franchise tag. The Raiders opted not to apply it to Jacobs again, setting him up for free agency. If the Raiders don’t bring him back, they could target another RB to pair with Zamir White, though a return could be on the table, which would be solid for Jacobs’ fantasy value as head coach used him as a workhorse down the stretch in 2023.

Jacoby Brissett drawing interest from Patriots, others
Veteran QB Jacoby Brissett is viewed as an “attractive option” for teams looking to add a QB2 or bridge option, with the New England Patriots expected to be in the mix.
Fantasy Impact
Brissett has made a career for himself as a high-end option for teams looking for QB depth or temporary help under center. Most recently, Brissett played behind Sam Howell on the Washington Commanders. He was set to take over the starting role late in the season before an injury sidelined him. New England was outright named as a potential suitor, who drafted him in 2016, but the Denver Broncos were mentioned as an option as well.
