Dynasty Rookie Draft Sleepers: Jordan Travis, Isaac Guerendo, Ricky Pearsall, Erick All

Throughout the 250-something 2024 NFL Draft picks, some might get drafted later than others and some may go higher than expected. In either circumstance, these are considered sleeper NFL Draft prospects. Below, we’ll scan through a few on the offensive side of the ball you may want to consider for your dynasty and redraft leagues come the 2024 fantasy season.

Let’s dive in.

2024 NFL Draft Guide

Sleeper NFL Draft Prospects

Jordan Travis (QB – Florida State)

Jordan Travis’ college season ended prematurely in November 2023 after a gruesome leg injury. Even before the injury, he was unlikely to be a high draft pick due to his arm strength, but he’s an excellent athlete with an upside in rushing ability. He’s able to break the pocket and perform fairly well, but again, the arm strength is what might ultimately hold a lot of teams back until the third day of the draft.

In college, Travis played in 49 games from 2018-2023. He began his career at Louisville. He started 10+ games in 2021 and has a lifetime completion percentage of just 62%. However, on the ground, he averaged 4.7 yards per carry against 417 attempts and had 400+ yards in two of his last three seasons. He also had exactly seven rushing touchdowns in each of his last four seasons.

According to Pro Football Focus (PFF), Travis was 18-of-58 on throws of 20+ yards downfield.

Isaac Guerendo (RB – Louisville)

A part of a two-headed monster at Louisville, Isaac Guerendo recorded 105 carries for 639 yards and eight touchdowns last season. He also had 17 receptions for 192 yards. At 6-foot-0, 221 pounds, Guerendo has the profile to pass and protect competently, which will get him on the field. Guerendo transferred over from Wisconsin, which makes sense, given he’s an excellent straight-line speed type of player.

The main issue with Guerendo is that he doesn’t run as tough a player of his size should and relies too much on his speed to beat defenders to get upfield. If he lands in a situation where a player goes down, he could likely step in and get the bulk of the work.

Ricky Pearsall (WR – Florida)

Standing at 6-foot-1 and 189 pounds, Ricky Pearsall will be a dedicated slot receiver who’s extremely reminiscent of former New England Patriots wideout Julian Edelman. He’s an excellent route-runner but may not have the best straight-line speed at the NFL level despite his 4.41 40-yard dash time. In 2023, he ran 10 different routes.

From a fantasy perspective, he could be an excellent PPR option if given a starting opportunity.

Erick All (TE – Iowa)

The talk of the tight end group is Brock Bowers out of Georgia, of course, but another guy to keep an eye on is Hawkeyes tight end Erick All. At 6-foot-4 and 252 pounds, All is a great blocker and can catch. Unfortunately for him and every other offensive weapon for Iowa, the quarterback play was abysmal, and they hardly got any action. Iowa has a long list of successful NFL tight ends. All has the skill set to be one of them. He also has less tread on the tires from a couple of injury-plagued seasons.

Still, if he can develop his blocking more and become consistent with route-running, he’s got the measurables to succeed in an NFL offense.
