DraftKings Pick6 4/16/24
Season Record: 8-4
CJ McCollum (G – NOP): 22.5 points
Brandon Ingram is back but played limited minutes in his return from a knee contusion and is not yet back to a full workload. He should see more than the 23 minutes he saw in the regular season finale but may not be as aggressive as we would normally expect him to be in a game with such high stakes. Enter CJ McCollum, who has been excellent with Ingram sidelined and is going to be ready to step it up again tonight. McCollum has scored 23 or more points in seven straight and in 12 of his last 13. He scored 25 against the Lakers on Sunday and should find a way to do so again tonight. Mash the More on McCollum for Tuesday night basketball.
Pick: More
LeBron James (G/F – LAL): 25.5 points
LeBron has been locked in to wrap up the regular season, putting up 28 or more points in each of his last three games. He dropped 28 on this same New Orleans Pelicans team on Sunday and should be fully in LeBron playoff mode by the second half. LeBron will look to get his teammates going early before taking over late. This is the way. Light up the More on LeBron for Tuesday night.
Pick: More
Klay Thompson (G/F – GSW): 20.5 points
Klay has been stepping it up lately, seemingly gearing up for a playoff run. The Warriors will need to get through the Play-In Tournament first, which means a battle against the Sacramento Kings. Both of these teams declined to make any big moves at the deadline despite both being in on the Pascal Siakam sweepstakes. The result: a seventh and eighth seed heading into the play-in. Klay has poured in 25 or more points in three of his last four and four of his last six. He should seek volume tonight and will likely look to shoot himself out of any cold streak. Tap the More on Thompson for Tuesday night’s action.
