Wednesday’s NBA Sleeper Picks Player Predictions: Luka Doncic, Jaden McDaniels, Anthony Edwards (5/30)

Welcome to Sleeper Picks. Sleeper’s newest offering promised plenty of entertainment and action, and they delivered. We will break down our top three picks for tonight’s NBA action. Sleeper is quickly becoming one of the most popular season-long fantasy platforms, and they are expanding into other areas based on demand. Each week in this space, we’ll talk about some strategy for the new platform while providing our favorite NBA more/less picks.

NBA Sleeper Picks Player Predictions (5/30)

Luka Doncic (G/F – DAL): 24.5 points (alt line)

The emergence of Luka Doncic into the national consciousness has been a sight to behold. Often lost in the shuffle behind other MVP candidates, Luka is getting his just due from the casual NBA fan as well as his detractors. Luka has scored at least 28 points in every game of this series and is in an excellent position to do so again tonight. Doncic is going to have his volume and he has stayed aggressive all through this series, even when his shot wasn’t falling in Game 4. He has taken at least 20 shots and seven free throws in each game. That sort of volume is going to lead to 25+ for a player of Luka’s caliber more often than not. Light up the More on Luka for Game 5.

Pick: More

Jaden McDaniels (F – MIN): 9.5 points (alt line)

Jaden has scored 10 or more points in three of the four games in this series and remains a solid play at the 9.5 alt line. He continues to log heavy minutes due to his two-way play and remains locked in from deep, so look for the Timberwolves to try to get him going early. Jab the More on Jaden for Game 5.

Pick: More

Anthony Edwards (G/F – MIN): 13.5 assists + rebounds

Ant-Man has recorded 18 or more assists plus rebounds (A+R) in three of the four games of this series. The number is lower than expected due to the 12 combined A+R he posted in Game 3, but is still a line that could change or be removed by game time. Ant-Man has recorded seven or more assists in every game of this series and has hauled in eight or more rebounds in three of the four games of this series. He has become a consistent playmaker with the extra attention he’s getting in the postseason, something that we hope he can continue to work on moving forward, as it will help propel his game to even greater heights. Hit the More on Edwards for Game 5.

Pick: More

Writers note: The lines are constantly changing on Sleeper (and sometimes expiring), so there is a high probability that one or all of the numbers may no longer be the same when you open your app. There are excellent values when they are first posted, with the only catch being that they are not all released at the same time. Vigilance could provide a solid return on investment this season, literally.
