Live Fantasy Football Discord AMA with Pat Fitzmaurice
Pat Fitzmaurice: Hey @everyone. Live chat starting now in the Pat Fitzmaurice AMA channel. See you there!
jck510: How concerned should we be with Tyler Allgeier and Justice Hill for Bijan Robinson and Derrick Henry drafters? Who, if anyone, would you take ahead of those guys in those rounds? 10 team, half-PPR
Pat Fitzmaurice: I suspect the Allgeier hype is overblown, and I’m definitely not worried about Justice Hill taking any work from Henry other than on obvious passing downs. Honestly, I think the beat writer who’s projecting close to a 50/50 split for Bijan and Allgeier is just wrong. But who knows? Maybe I’m the one who’s wrong. I just think that would be suboptimal decision-making.
Darth_Nug: Hey, Pat. As always, thanks for taking the time. I have a dynasty trade scenario I’d like your opinion on: My buddy is a Packers fan, and I am trying to leverage that into shoring up my team’s biggest weakness (RB). Am I giving up too much long-term value in this deal?
Pat Fitzmaurice: Appreciate you, Darth! It looks like a really fair deal to me, and I like your end of it. I generally emphasize WR over RB in dynasty, but Achane and Javonte are two of my favorite RBs, and Wicks is a baller too, man. I like it.
Jon Collette: Who do you have ranked higher: Chris Godwin or Rome Odunze?
Pat Fitzmaurice: Godwin, but I’m starting to second-guess it. Rome is awesome. But snap counts could be an issue for him. I think Godwin is a little safer. (Fitz’s WR Rankings)
Schmucklos: I have to drop players before the draft; most of these players are good values against the league (if dropped, Taylor goes for 50+). Who would you drop with this limited info to get under the cap (currently at $231)?
