Zay Jones suspended five games
Zay Jones has been suspended for the first five games of the 2024 NFL season for violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy.
Fantasy Impact
While Jones was a reliable asset for Trevor Lawrence in 2022, his production fell off in 2023 after having an injury-riddled season. Jones will miss his first five games as a Cardinal but will look to provide a veteran presence in a young Arizona wide receiver room. He likely won’t be fantasy-relevant in most 12-team leagues with the arrival of projected superstar Marvin Harrison Jr. and the anticipated ascension of second-year man Michael Wilson.

Drake Maye handling adversity better
Patriots coach Jerod Mayo said Drake Maye used to “get down” on himself when he’d throw an interception in practice but is now improving in how he handles adversity.

“He’s done a better job pulling the nose up on the plane when it seems like it’s going down,” Mayo said. It remains a quarterback battle heading into the final preseason game this weekend between Maye and Jacoby Brissett.
