NFL Week 3 Sleeper Picks Player Predictions (2024)

NFL Week 3 Sleeper Picks Player Predictions (2024)

Welcome to Sleeper Picks. Sleeper’s newest offering promised plenty of entertainment and action, and they delivered. We will break down our top three picks for this week’s NFL action. Sleeper is quickly becoming one of the most popular season-long fantasy platforms, and they are expanding into other areas based on demand. Each week in this space, we’ll talk about some strategy for the new platform while providing our favorite NFL more/less picks.

Sleeper Picks NFL Week 3

2024 Season record: 4-2

Malik Nabers (WR – NYG): 65.5 receiving yards

Nabers saw 18 targets in Week 2 and should see another steady stream of targets this week against Cleveland. The Browns will likely roll coverage his way to prevent splash plays, but the Giants manufacture enough touches for Nabers, who has after-the-catch juice, for him to generate all of this yardage purely off his short and intermediate targets. Mash the More on Nabers for Week 3 at Sleeper Picks.

Pick: More

Brock Bowers (TE – LV): 48.5 receiving yards

Bowers has been every bit as advertised since entering the league, and it’s honestly a surprise that this number has been set so low. It makes sense for a tight end, but anyone who followed Bowers in college knows he is more big slot than TE in terms of explosive ability and usage. He has recorded 58 or more receiving yards in both of his first two games in the NFL, and only gamescript causing Gardner Minshew to stop throwing will be able to prevent Bowers from hitting at least 49 this weekend. Bump the More on Bowers for Week 3 at Sleeper Picks.

Pick: More

Jaxon Smith-Njigba (WR – SEA): 4.5 receptions

We generally don’t touch reception totals in this column, but this one stood out. JSN recorded 12 receptions in Week 2, but the total remained the same for JSN as it had been all season at 4.5 receptions. Anyone who has been paying attention knows that JSN has supplanted Tyler Lockett as the WR2, and there are going to be a handful of nights when he leads the team in target and receptions. He has always been someone who profiles as a 100 reception receiver, he just needed the role to flourish. JSN still has the issue of getting open too quickly on some plays, which prevents him from truly maximizing his potential, but he has been good about using a varied tempo to delay his point of separation. Jab the More on JSN for Week 3.

Pick: More

Writers note: The lines are constantly changing on Sleeper, so there is a high probability that one or all of the numbers may no longer be the same when you open your app. There are excellent values when they are first posted, with the only catch being that they are not all released at the same time. Vigilance could provide a solid return on investment this season, literally.
