Monday’s NBA Sleeper Picks Player Predictions: Cade Cunningham, Domantas Sabonis, Karl-Anthony Towns (1/27)

Monday’s NBA Sleeper Picks Player Predictions: Cade Cunningham, Domantas Sabonis, Karl-Anthony Towns (1/27)

Welcome to Sleeper Picks. Sleeper’s newest offering promised plenty of entertainment and action, and they delivered. We will break down our top three picks for tonight’s NBA action. Sleeper is quickly becoming one of the most popular season-long fantasy platforms, and they are expanding into other areas based on demand. Each week in this space, we’ll talk about some strategy for the new platform while providing our favorite NBA more/less picks.

NBA Sleeper Picks Player Predictions (1/27)

Cade Cunningham (G – DET): 19.5 points (alt line)

Cade continues to roll for the Pistons, but it remains to be seen if the coaches will make him to the all-star team. Cade is averaging an elite line of 24.9 points, 6.5 rebounds, 9.4 assists, 1.0 steals, and 0.8 blocks per game. If anything keeps him from making the all-star team, it will be his turnovers. Cade has scored 20 or more points in each of his last eight games and in 10 of his last 11. Cunningham dropped 33 on Cleveland early in the season. Clap the More on Cade for Monday night basketball.

Pick: More

Domantas Sabonis (C – SAC): 0.5 double doubles

Domantas continues to be elite on the boards and comes into tonight’s contest averaging a league high 14.4 rebounds per game. His consistency on the boards makes Sabonis double double the top play whenever it is on the board. The multiplier on this total always drops precipitously, so be sure to lock it in as soon as you see it, especially behind one game slates like we had yesterday. Domantas has recorded a double double in each of his last 22 games and in 40 of his 42 games played overall. Dap the More on Domantas for Monday night at Sleeper Picks.

Pick: More

Karl-Anthony Towns (F/C – NYK): 19.5 points (alt line)

KAT has struggled from the field since suffering the thumb injury on his shooting hand, scoring 18 or fewer points in two of his last three games. With that said, Towns hoisted 18 shots in all three of those contests, giving him the volume needed to hit at least 20 tonight. The double double line has the better probability, but we will avoid posting two such lines when possible outside of the postseason. KAT has scored 20 or more points in nine of his last 12 games and will be needed against a tough Grizzlies defense. Tap the More on Towns for Monday night’s NBA action.

Pick: More

Writers note: The lines are constantly changing on Sleeper (and sometimes expiring), so there is a high probability that one or all of the numbers may no longer be the same when you open your app. There are excellent values when they are first posted, with the only catch being that they are not all released at the same time. Vigilance could provide a solid return on investment this season, literally.
