Quinn Ewers declares for 2025 NFL Draft
Texas QB Quinn Ewers has officially declared for the 2025 NFL Draft.
Fantasy Impact
This was the expectation. Ewers ends his career at Texas going 21-5 across the past two seasons and leading the Longhorns to back-to-back semifinal appearances. He’ll be a quarterback to monitor in April to see where he lands.

Diontae Johnson waived by Texans
Diontae Johnson has been waived by the Houston Texans.
Fantasy Impact
For whatever reason, Johnson just can’t seem to stick to whatever team he has been with. After heading to Carolina from Pittsburgh, he has now been traded to the Ravens, released, picked up by Houston, and released again. The Texans waiving Johnson is especially concerning given that they are still in the playoff fight and are without both Stefon Diggs and Tank Dell. He will look to stick around a little longer in whatever new home he can find and rebuild his value.

Russell Wilson ‘loves it’ in Pittsburgh, would like to return
Pittsburgh Steelers QB Russell Wilson said it’s “the plan” for him to return in 2025 and that he “loves it” in Pittsburgh, though the decision is not fully in his control.
Fantasy Impact
Wilson slowed down during the stretch with the Steelers, as did Pittsburgh’s offense as a whole. The Steelers ended their regular season on a four-game losing streak, playing as the fantasy QB17 over that stretch. Both Wilson and Justin Fields are free agents this offseason, leaving Pittsburgh’s QB room in a state of flux this offseason.
