Aaron Jones Sr., Vikings moving contract void date
The Minnesota Vikings’ front office and pending free agent RB Aaron Jones Sr. have agreed to move back the void date on the veteran back’s contract to the final day before free agency.
Fantasy Impact
This move allows Jones and the Vikings to have more time to discuss an extension, as Minnesota was set to take on $3.2 million in dead money in 2025. By moving the date back, the two sides can further work through a potential extension, with the front office likely wanting to minimize the cap hit it was set to take in the process during Jones’ void year. This does not guarantee a deal will be made, but it shows both parties are interested in a longer partnership.

Maxx Crosby expected to be out of walking boot February 17
Maxx Crosby said he is expected to be out of his walking boot on February 17.

Crosby will continue his recovery from surgery on his left ankle. He underwent season-ending surgery back in December. He appears to be on track to be fully healthy entering training camp.
