Sleeper Picks NFL Super Bowl LIX
2024 Season record: 42-20
Saquon Barkley (RB – PHI): 99.5 rushing yards (alt line)
Saquon has been incredible all season, making full use of the best offensive line he has ever run behind to rush for over 2,000 yards in 16 games. He has topped the century mark in rushing in 12 of his last 14 games. Everyone knows that the Eagles’ path to victory lies in Saquon’s legs and the Eagles disruptive defense. Saquon should be fed regardless of gamescript, as he is the engine that makes the Eagles offense go. There is also the added benefit of rushing plays eating more clock, which in turn keeps Patrick Mahomes off the field while simultaneously giving the Eagles defense more rest. Expect Saquon to see over 20 carries in this one. Slap the More on Saquon for Super Bowl Sunday.
Pick: More
Xavier Worthy (WR – KC): 49.5 receiving yards (alt line)
Xavier continues to play a key role in the Chiefs’ aerial attack, and we don’t expect that to change this Sunday. Worthy has recorded 65 or more receiving yards in three of his last four games. He has hauled in five or more receptions in both of his playoff games but managed just 45 receiving yards against Houston (in what was not exactly a competitive matchup). He put up 85 receiving yards in a competitive matchup against Buffalo and should hit at least 50 receiving yards during the Super Bowl, even if it comes at a low yards per catch average. Hit the More on Xavier for Super Bowl Weekend at Sleeper Picks.
Pick: More
Patrick Mahomes (QB – KC): 24.5 rushing yards (alt line)
Mahomes is going to have a strong scramble or two during the Super Bowl. Mahomes is far from a running quarterback, but he is a quarterback who will run when needed. Mahomes rushed for 43 yards during the conference championship against the Bills. He also has a history of rushing above expectation during the Super Bowl, rushing for 66 yards last year against San Francisco in Super Bowl 58 and rushing for 44 yards against Philadelphia in Super Bowl 57. Mash the More on Mahomes for Super Bowl 59.
Pick: More
Writers note: The lines are constantly changing on Sleeper, so there is a high probability that one or all of the numbers may no longer be the same when you open your app. There are excellent values when they are first posted, with the only catch being that they are not all released at the same time. Vigilance could provide a solid return on investment this season, literally.
