Now that rookie drafts have ended and eyes are turning to training camps, dynasty managers should also be looking at how to tweak their rosters. Personally, when I look to make a trade, I start with my roster and see what players are ranked higher in dynasty expert consensus rankings (ECR) than I think they should be. These rankings are a way to see who the market might like more than me, and a good starting point for building a trade. Here are players I’m selling if I can, grouped by their approximate value. If you want to make a big trade, you need a big asset to sell. Let’s dive into some dynasty trade advice!

Dynasty Trade Advice: Running Backs to Sell
De’Von Achane (RB – MIA)
I’ve been talking about De’Von Achane as a sell candidate for what feels like a year now. The Dolphins’ offense could be terrible this year, which won’t help Achane’s value. Not only that, but running backs tend to see a steeper decline sooner rather than later. I’d gladly pivot off of him if I can get his full RB5 dynasty value. Tiering down to another ascending asset is a no-brainer, but you might have to sweet-talk your trade partner into agreeing.
Jonathan Taylor (RB – IND)
I feel like Jonathan Taylor has flown under the radar for a couple of years now. I remember writing about him as a sell candidate after the 2021 season when he was in the top tier among backs. Now that he’s a little cheaper, RB8 in dynasty ECR, the message is still the same. If you can get full value for him, now might be the best time to do that. Running backs fall off a cliff eventually, and it’s best to be ahead of the curve if at all possible. If you’re not contending, Taylor has no right being on your roster. If you are contending, consider tiering down for similar production plus a bench asset.
