Fantasy Football Injuries to Know for Your Draft
Kenneth Walker (RB – SEA)
Kenneth Walker (foot) returned to practice on Thursday.
The Seahawks have been managing Kenneth Walker’s practice reps to avoid aggravating his foot injury. The hope is to keep him fresh for Week 1. However, it’s good to see that he’s back to practice, especially with how much praise Zach Charbonnet has been getting lately. Buy the dip on Walker if he falls in your upcoming drafts.
Tee Higgins (WR – CIN)
Tee Higgins (ankle) briefly exits practice on Thursday.
Tee Higgins briefly left practice with an ankle injury but was able to return. Still, it’s reflective of a common theme for a player who consistently deals with soft tissue injuries. Higgins is one of those wideouts who always seems to be banged up, making him a higher injury risk than others.
De’Von Achane (RB – MIA)
De’Von Achane (calf) missed practice all week.
De’Von Achane has missed practice with a calf injury. The fantasy community is worried that this will affect his availability for the first couple of weeks of the season, pushing Achane down to the mid-to-late second round. Despite rumors from beat writers, there’s no confirmation of missed time just yet, so don’t panic on Achane.
Tre’ Harris (WR – LAC)
Tre’ Harris (tightness) missed practice on Thursday.
Tre’ Harris had already been falling behind in the Chargers wide receiver room, especially after they signed Keenan Allen, so it’s not a good sign to see missed practice time for the second-round rookie. If you take Harris in fantasy, you’ll have to be patient because there likely won’t be much of an impact until later in the year.
