Whether you’re just starting fantasy football mock draft season, or it never ends in the first place, mock drafts are a great tool to give you a leg up in any league. Of course, we’re using FantasyPros’ mock draft simulator, the best mock draft tool out there.
Today, we’re mock drafting a 10-team, half-PPR league with a standard roster. I’ll walk you through my picks and let you judge for yourself. Feel free to let me know on Twitter/X (@TJHorganTV) where you’d have made a different move. I’m drafting from the 1.08 pick, let’s dive in.

Fantasy Football Mock Draft
1.08: Nico Collins (WR – HOU)
I’m fully drunk on the Nico Collins Kool-Aid. He was the WR2 through five weeks last season (he got injured in Week 5 and only caught two passes that week). He should be C.J. Stroud‘s main source of offensive production yet again.
2.03: Derrick Henry (RB – BAL)
This was a tough pick. Ashton Jeanty and Jonathan Taylor were staring me dead in the eyes here. However, it’s just too tough to pass on an apparent superhuman who will yet again be the entire goal-line plan for one of the NFL’s best teams.
3.08: Lamar Jackson (QB – BAL)
Well, Ravens stack it is. I am the last person to target stacks heading into drafts, but the value here, especially in a 10-team league, was too hard to pass up. In a half-PPR league, it’s more difficult for wide receivers, running backs and tight ends to make up ground when Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen or another elite quarterback option goes off.
4.03: Mike Evans (WR – TB)
Mike Evans is the Derrick Henry of receivers. Despite being nearly 32 years old, Evans should still be a weekly roster lock. The Buccaneers’ entire red-zone plan should once again revolve around getting the ball to Evans.
5.08: Xavier Worthy (WR – KC)
I’m willing to reach for a higher-ceiling player here, given my roster construction so far. If Kansas City’s offense bounces back, Xavier Worthy’s stock should pay dividends.
6.03: Courtland Sutton (WR – DEN)
Courtland Sutton should still be the top option for a sophomore Bo Nix in Denver. There’s no reason to think Sutton couldn’t see another 135 targets as he did last season. His 18 touchdowns over the last two seasons might not sustain, but if they do, this pick hits big.
7.08: Joe Mixon (RB – HOU)
I went with Joe Mixon as my RB2 because of how deeply injury news has plummeted his stock. Mixon’s 1,300+ all-purpose yards and 12 touchdowns made him the RB7 from Weeks 6-18. I’m not worried about Nick Chubb. If Mixon is healthy, he’s still the first option in that backfield.
8.03: Mark Andrews (TE – BAL)
I guess we’re really stacking Ravens now. Mark Andrews won’t last until the eighth round for long. Isaiah Likely could be looking at an extended absence, which means Andrews will have the coveted tight end targets virtually all to himself.
9.08: Rhamondre Stevenson (RB – NE)
Given Joe Mixon’s injury status, I wanted a running back I could roll out in Week 1 if necessary. Rhamondre Stevenson should be the Patriots’ primary back to start the season. Second-round rookie TreVeyon Henderson is talented, but reports out of camp at the moment are that Stevenson is leading the way.
10.03: Tyjae Spears (RB – TEN)
Tyjae Spears should factor into Tennessee’s game plan as a receiver and big-play threat this year, complementing Tony Pollard. You could start Spears in a pinch, but his upside if Pollard were to miss time for any reason makes him a great 10th-round pick.
11.08: Rachaad White (RB – TB)
Pretty much everything I said above about Tyjae Spears applies to Rachaad White. He will take a backseat to rookie sensation Bucky Irving, but White is still well-equipped for the passing game and full-time duty should Irving go down.
12.03: Kyle Pitts (TE – ATL)
Yes, here we are again with Kyle Pitts. In the 12th round, I’ll take the flier on the upside of Pitts playing with sophomore quarterback Michael Penix. I know we’ve heard this before, but reports out of camp are praising their connection already.
We wrap up with kicker and defense — check out the full draft and let me know what you think.
