Today’s MLB DFS & Player Props Picks
Tuesday’s Starting Pitcher Rankings
Logan Webb is a stud at home. According to FanGraphs, Webb has a 3.01 ERA, 2.87 xFIP, 1.13 WHIP, 4.4 BB%, 23.0 K% and 58.7 GB% in 206.1 innings at home since last season. He should add to his excellent numbers in a plus matchup tonight.
The Cardinals are tied for 23rd in wRC+ (96) with a 21.3 K% versus righties and tied for 25th in wRC+ (89) with a 22.8 K% on the road in 2025. St. Louis was also 28th in wRC+ (80) with a 25.0 K% in the previous 30 days. Thus, the Giants are listed as commanding -200 favorites, and the game’s total is a pitcher-friendly 7.5 runs.
Cole Ragans has a high ceiling tonight. The 27-year-old lefty’s 5.16 ERA in 11 starts spanning 52.1 innings this season starkly contrasts his 2.77 xERA, 2.70 xFIP and 2.75 SIERA. Ragans doesn’t have a track record of significantly underperforming his ERA estimators. So, he should be expected to perform better than he has based on his ERA estimators. Ragans also has a juicy 36.0 K%, 14.9 SwStr%, 31.2 CSW%, 109 stuff+, 100 location+ and 107 pitching+ this season. He can pitch closer to his ERA estimators in a plus matchup tonight.
The Angels are 19th in wRC+ (92) with a 27.0 K% versus lefties and tied for 21st in wRC+ (92) with a 26.6 K% at home this year. They were also 29th in wRC+ (73) with a 31.4 K% in the previous 30 days. So, the Royals are listed as -155 favorites, and the game’s total is 8.5 runs.
Bryce Miller is the best SP2 selection in cash games tonight and has a compelling case for usage in GPPs. Miller is having a forgettable campaign. Nevertheless, he has a 2.94 ERA, 3.46 xFIP, 1.01 WHIP, 7.1 BB% and 28.2 K% in 131.2 innings at home since last season. Miller also has the ideal matchup tonight.
The Rockies are dead last in wRC+ (76) with a 26.0 K% versus righties and dead last in wRC+ (64) with a 28.3 K% on the road this season. Colorado was also dead last in wRC+ (66) with a 27.5 K% in the previous 30 days.

Suggested Lineup Stacks
In four starts spanning 14.2 innings on the road since last season, Cristian Javier has a 9.82 ERA, 6.33 xFIP, 2.11 WHIP, 15.8 BB% and 17.1 K%. He’s also served up 1.84 HR/9 on the road since last season. Javier is a powder keg on the road, and the hitter-friendly conditions at Sutter Health Park should exacerbate his road woes tonight.
- Road (Sutter Health Park)
- Game Total/Moneyline: 10.0 Runs/HOU -110
Jeffrey Springs has struggled mightily at home this year. In 77.1 innings at home this season, Springs has a 5.00 ERA, 4.65 xFIP and 1.29 WHIP. The veteran lefty has yielded a .334 wOBA to 333 batters at home this season and coughed up an eye-popping 1.98 HR/9. The Astros should take advantage of the hitter-friendly conditions and favorable matchup tonight.
