Fantasy Football Injuries to Know for Week 7
Blake Corum (RB – LAR)
Blake Corum (ankle) is set to play on Sunday.
Blake Corum is good to go for Sunday. His status had been in question due to an ankle injury. This is fantasy-relevant news because if Corum had missed this game, there’s a good chance that Kyren Williams would have had a monster workload, especially with the team not yet trusting rookie Jarquez Hunter.
CeeDee Lamb (WR – DAL)
CeeDee Lamb (ankle) is not listed on the injury report.
CeeDee Lamb isn’t even listed on the injury report for Week 7, so there’s no reason to be concerned that he’ll play with any restrictions. I have Lamb as my overall WR1 this week in a smash spot against the Commanders in a projected shootout. I would also recommend targeting Lamb player props because they’re priced a bit too low coming off the injury.
Christian Watson (WR – GB)
Christian Watson (knee) is out Sunday.
The fact that this is even mentioned tells you that Christian Watson is inching closer to a return. That would make the Packers’ receiver room even more crowded, but we should note that Matthew Golden hasn’t exactly been too impressive this year. Perhaps Watson can rediscover his form when he returns, so he’s a decent stash.
Josh Jacobs (RB – GB)
Josh Jacobs (calf/illness) is questionable for Week 7.
Josh Jacobs is questionable for this week against the Cardinals, putting Emanuel Wilson in a spot where he can be the primary ball-carrier for the Packers. If Wilson is still available in your league, pick him up immediately, as there seems to be a reasonable chance that Jacobs will miss this game.
Jalen Coker (WR – CAR)
Jalen Coker (quad) is questionable for Week 7.
There’s a good chance that Jalen Coker will be ready to make his season debut against the Jets this week. While there’s a risk that the Panthers will ease him into action, there’s also a chance that the team held him out until he was truly ready. The best move is to just stash Coker on your bench, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he exceeds expectations.
Josh Reynolds (WR – NYJ)
Josh Reynolds (hip) is off the injury report.
Josh Reynolds is not listed on the injury report for Week 7, which is good news because with Garrett Wilson out, there are plenty of target opportunities. Don’t be surprised if we see a 5-61-1 type of line from Reynolds. With that said, given Justin Fields‘ struggles as a passer, we should temper expectations. Consider Reynolds a WR4 this week.
Jakobi Meyers (WR – LV)
Jakobi Meyers (knee/toe) returned to practice on Friday.
Jakobi Meyers returned to practice on Friday, putting him in line to play this week against the Chiefs. While the veteran has struggled this year, he’s still in line for an opportunity with Brock Bowers likely sidelined. With the Raiders likely playing from behind, that could mean more passing volume.
Brock Bowers (TE – LV)
Brock Bowers (knee) returned to practice on Friday.
Brock Bowers returned to practice on Friday, which is a bit surprising because the expectation would be that he’s out for another week. However, the fact that he was able to practice makes me a bit hopeful. While I still think he will be out once again, there’s a chance that he suits up. If Bowers can go, he should be in your lineup.
