NFL DFS Cash Game Lineup Advice & Picks (Week 9)

Week 9 is here, so it’s time to build some NFL DFS cash game lineups.

Remember, when playing cash games, you want to target players with a nice combination of floor and ceiling. If there is a “free square” on the board, that is: A significantly underpriced player thrust into a huge bump in usage, then you can play them without thinking about how popular they’ll be among the field.

With that in mind, read on to learn more about my favorite DFS cash game picks for Week 9. We’ll provide pricing from both FanDuel and DraftKings for these picks. I’ll keep it tight, with two picks for each position.

Week 9 NFL DFS Cash Game Advice & Picks

The players below are the ones I’m looking at for NFL DFS cash game considerations this week.

Quarterbacks

Caleb Williams (QB – CHI) at CIN | DraftKings: $5,700/FanDuel: $7,300

Caleb Williams has struggled lately, but this is a textbook get-right spot against a porous Bengals defense. Cincinnati ranks 25th in fantasy points per game allowed to quarterbacks. We just saw Justin Fields get back on track against this group in Week 8. Look for the same to happen with Williams.

Jaxson Dart (QB – SF) vs. SF | DraftKings: $5,200/FanDuel: $7,400

Jaxson Dart has been spectacular since taking over as the Giants’ starter, averaging 22 fantasy points per game during that stretch, which ranks as the QB6. The Giants are in a projected sneaky shootout against the 49ers, as highlighted by the 48.5-point total. You’re getting a terrific deal on Dart at DraftKings.

Running Backs

Tyrone Tracy Jr. (RB – NYG) vs. SF | DraftKings: $5,100/FanDuel: $6,000

With Cam Skattebo out for the season, Tyrone Tracy Jr. takes over as the Giants’ bell-cow back. We’ve seen Tracy show a high ceiling when given the reins. Just think back to last year against the Steelers, when he rushed for 145 yards on only 20 carries. Tracy makes for a nice pairing with Dart in a Giants stack.

Kareem Hunt (RB – KC) at BUF | DraftKings: $4,700/FanDuel: $5,900

Here we have some much-needed salary relief with Kareem Hunt, who is going to carry the load for the Chiefs with Isiah Pacheco sidelined. This is a great bet for a touchdown, especially in a projected shootout, which is reflected in the 52-point total. You simply can’t pass up a running back with such high touchdown equity in a high-powered offense at this cost.

Wide Receivers

Puka Nacua (WR – LAR) vs. NO | DraftKings: $8,500/FanDuel: $9,500

Here you can see why we’ve saved some money by going with Tyrone Tracy Jr. and Kareem Hunt at running back. It’s because we want to pay up for Puka Nacua, who is back in the Rams’ lineup after a one-game absence. Nacua was in the middle of a historic season before getting hurt, so expect him to pick up right where he left off in a dream matchup versus the Saints, where the Rams have a 29-point implied team total.

Wan’Dale Robinson (WR – NYG) vs. SF | DraftKings: $5,100/FanDuel: $5,900

Wan’Dale Robinson completes the Giants stack for us. Since Jaxson Dart took over, Robinson has shown a decent ceiling, including 17.4 half-PPR points in Week 6. Bet on Robinson to be Dart’s safety valve as he tries to deal with Robert Saleh’s 49ers defense. I like Robinson better on DraftKings and its full PPR scoring setting.

Tight Ends

George Kittle (TE – SF) at NYG | DraftKings: $4,800/FanDuel: $6,100

I’m going with George Kittle in this column for the second week in a row, especially after he found the end zone last week. What I like about taking Kittle here is he’s a natural “bring-back” in my Giants stack, as we hope to capitalize on a high-scoring 49ers-Giants game. There’s a legit chance Kittle can be the No. 1 pass-catcher (aside from Christian McCaffrey) in this game.

Brock Bowers (TE – LV) vs. JAX | DraftKings: $5,000/FanDuel: $6,800

Brock Bowers is back in the lineup for the Raiders. You’re getting a terrific deal on Bowers at DraftKings at $5,000, making him the top cash play among tight ends this week. There’s a great chance that Bowers is fully healthy after such a long layoff, so he’ll have a chance to put up huge numbers here.
