One last big fantasy football waiver wire push before the fantasy playoffs. Whether you’re playing for positioning or just pride, these games still matter a whole lot, and every roster transaction you make is vitally important.
While your league mates concentrate on the immediate fixtures, you can gain an edge by looking to next week and seeing which fantasy football players might be worth picking up off the waiver wire ahead of time to gain an advantage. Instead of fighting things out on the waiver wire, these players could join your roster for free, now.

We use rostership data from Yahoo, which provides a large sample size and tends to be fairly reliable. We understand you’ll be dying to say ‘he’s not available in my league’ to every suggestion, even regarding players available in fewer than 10% of leagues. However, by selecting players typically rostered in 50% or fewer of leagues, we should have a good range of players available in many leagues.
We’ve hit a really difficult part of the schedule for waivers and stashes. With the bye weeks starting to tail off, it’s pretty bleak out there. This week, the column will aim to give you a few streamers for Week 14, but also some valuable stashes going forward.

Aaron Rodgers (QB – PIT) | 27% Rostered
The Ravens look like a broken team right now, despite riding the highs of a five-game winning streak until the misery the Bengals inflicted. Next up, it’s Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers for a pivotal game that will determine a lot in the AFC North race.
Rodgers hasn’t been overly great for fantasy this season, but he’s scored 16+ fantasy points in three of his last six games. Against this Ravens team, it wouldn’t be surprising to see him have success. Joe Burrow just threw for 261 yards and two touchdowns against them. Rodgers is a reasonable streamer if you’re struggling.
Tyler Shough (QB – NO) | 8% Rostered
Since taking over the starting quarterback job from Spencer Rattler, Tyler Shough has been reasonably successful with completion rates over 69% in each of his last two games and over 240 passing yards in both of those games.
Tyler Shough has approximately doubled his points each week. If this trend holds, he may just be the key to the playoffs. pic.twitter.com/EYMl7xGCb5

Shough’s 6.6 yards per attempt isn’t fantastic, but he’s worth considering for Week 14 against the Buccaneers, who allow the ninth-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks and rank 18th in passing defense expected points allowed (EPA). The Saints are a pass funnel, ranking sixth-best against the run but 24th against the pass, keeping them in pass-heavy scripts, which is good news for fantasy.
Bhayshul Tuten (RB – JAX) | 44% Rostered
People were disappointed when Travis Etienne returned in Week 12 and immediately took control of the Jaguars’ backfield once again, but that shouldn’t have been surprising, given that Etienne is having one of his better seasons. That’s not to say that Bhayshul Tuten isn’t worth rostering.
This Jaguars running game is one of the more efficient in the league right now, ranking fourth in EPA, and Etienne leads Tuten by 1.01 yards per carry. But Tuten is still finding ways to be valuable and rotate in with four top-36 finishes and two in his last four games. If Etienne were to get injured, Tuten would immediately become a top-20 running back.
Chris Rodriguez Jr. (RB – WSH) | 23% Rostered
The Commanders take on the Broncos this week in a tough matchup, but it’s still worth grabbing Chris Rodriguez Jr. while you can. It’s too late for Washington to make a playoff run, having lost six straight games, but there’s still much to be ironed out in fantasy football.
This is the major difference between Chris Rodriguez Jr. and Jacory Croskey-Merritt. Rodriguez runs with power, Bill does not. It's important for running backs to fight through contact, break tackles, and pick up extra yards. C-Rod is not giving this job up this year pic.twitter.com/wetYOinqX0

Rodriguez has been outplaying Jacory Croskey-Merritt for a few weeks now. In Madrid, Rodriguez went 15/79 while Croskey-Merritt managed a miserable nine attempts for 28 yards. The Broncos matchup is as tough as they come, but in the fantasy playoffs, the Commanders have a cupcake running back schedule against the Giants, Eagles and Cowboys. That alone makes him worth your attention.
Blake Corum (RB – LAR) | 15% Rostered
The Rams have quite clearly told us by now that this backfield will be a committee moving forward, and despite Kyren Williams being the lead back, we still need to pay attention to Blake Corum. Over the last five games, Corum has seen 53 carries, averaging over 4.3 yards per carry in three of them and turning those touches into 185 yards.
Corum isn’t returning great fantasy performances because he sees no receiving work and hasn’t found the end zone often. However, his role has expanded as the season has gone on, and being able to get the clear No. 2 RB on the Rams in 85% of leagues is a solid insurance policy.
Jayden Higgins (WR – HOU) | 34% Rostered
A tough matchup with Kansas City awaits the Texans, with the two teams both struggling for offensive identity. Jayden Higgins, though, has firmly established himself as the No. 2 WR on this offense with 23 targets in his last three games and topping 38 yards in each of those games.
That run of form has seen Higgins turn in top-36 finishes at the wide receiver position in three of his last five games. His touchdown total for the season now stands at a respectable four. Higgins is better off on your roster than someone else’s.
Chimere Dike (WR – TEN) | 20% Rostered
Aside from being possibly the best punt returner in the league, Chimere Dike is also starting to make an impact on this Tennessee offense in the wake of the injury to Calvin Ridley. Dike saw an 18% target share in Week 12 and led the team in routes run. That resulted in five catches for 44 yards and a touchdown. It seems clear Cam Ward trusts his fellow rookie.
Titans WR Chimere Dike's is having an All-Pro rookie season:
◻️ 47 Kick Returns (1st in NFL)
◻️ 1,206 KR Yards (1st in NFL)
◻️ 285 Punt Return Yards (3rd in NFL)
◻️ 2 Punt Return TD (1st in NFL)
◻️ 23.8 Yards Per Punt Return (1st in NFL)
◻️ 1,760 All-Purpose Yards (1st in NFL) pic.twitter.com/qd2NOuqEeC— Football Forever (@fballforeverhq) November 26, 2025
Dike is averaging 5.25 targets per game over the last four, and he could be a decent streamer against Cleveland, as they are vulnerable to deep balls. Giving up five of the 17 passing touchdowns they’ve allowed all year to deep passes. Dike might not be a comfortable start, but he’s a fun player, and this Titans offense should keep leaning into him.
John Metchie (WR – NYJ) | 14% Rostered
In Week 14, the Jets take on the Dolphins in a matchup that should allow John Metchie to continue his good run of form. In his last two games for the Jets, Metchie has had touchdowns in both. Against the Ravens, he caught six passes for 65 yards.
Metchie is the floor play in this offense, with Adonai Mitchell much likelier to gain bigger spikes, but he’s a volatile player, while Metchie is more secure playing from the slot. The Dolphins allow the fourth-highest quarterback rating to players in the slot and have given up seven touchdowns to the position and a 75.9% completion rate. The ceiling might be low, but this is a solid bet if you’re projected to win your matchup.
Brenton Strange (TE – JAX) | 30% Rostered
Brenton Strange returned from injured reserve (IR) and was targeted early and often by Trevor Lawrence in Week 12. Strange ended up leading the team with five receptions for 93 yards, picking up where he left off despite playing only 71% of the snaps.
Strange has led the team in receiving yards in three of his five healthy games this year, averaging over 50 yards per game. That’s a very consistent and nice base for a tight end, particularly with the Colts up next, who allow the sixth-most fantasy points to the position.
Taysom Hill (TE – NO) | 2% Rostered
Look, I get it, we all do. Taysom Hill is a nightmare for fantasy football. But, would it really surprise anyone if Hill was the goal-line option for the Saints while Alvin Kamara is injured?
Hill saw a season-high 10 rushing attempts last week with Kamara injured for much of the game. While Devin Neal is a fun name to consider, he lacks NFL experience. The floor is rock bottom with Hill, but we know the ceiling is very high.
