Fantasy Football Stock Report: Week 11
Fantasy Football Risers
TreVeyon Henderson (RB – NE)
TreyVeon Henderson dominated in his second career start, playing on 83.6% of the Patriots’ offensive snaps while handling 15 touches for 150 yards from scrimmage and a pair of touchdowns, scoring 28 PPR points and finishing as the RB4 on the week.
Henderson benefited in the absence of Terrell Jennings, who left with a knee injury after only five snaps, but made the most of his opportunity and played a critical role in New England’s 28-23 upset win against the Buccaneers. Although Rhamondre Stevenson has logged back-to-back limited sessions in practice, it’s hard to put the genie back in the bottle, especially with a short turnaround for Thursday Night Football.
Juwan Johnson (TE – NO)
Juwan Johnson was bailed out by a touchdown in Tyler Shough‘s first career start, catching only three balls on four targets for 31 yards, trailing Rashid Shaheed (36%) and tied with Chris Olave for second on the team in target share (16%).
However, with Shaheed dealt to Seattle ahead of the trade deadline, Johnson was much more involved in the game plan, catching a 54-yard pass on the opening drive and finding the end zone in back-to-back weeks. His 92 yards in Week 10 were a new-season high, scoring 19.2 PPR points and finishing as the TE3.
Tez Johnson (WR – TB)
Seventh-round rookie (No. 235 overall) Tez Johnson has stepped up in the absence of Chris Godwin and Mike Evans, solidifying himself as the clear No. 2 WR behind Emeka Egbuka. Coming out of the bye, Johnson played on a career-high 82.6% of the Buccaneers’ offensive snaps, while running a route on 86.7% of Baker Mayfield‘s dropbacks.
Johnson caught four passes on five targets for 42 yards and two touchdowns. His 20.2 PPR points in Week 10 were 10th among all wide receivers, even with Egbuka outscoring him on the same team. As long as Godwin and Evans are out, Johnson should continue to see his role grow in one of the better offenses in the league.
Fantasy Football Fallers
Garrett Wilson (WR – NYJ)
Garrett Wilson was back in the lineup after missing the previous two games with a knee injury, but played only 19 snaps before diving for a contested catch and hurting the same knee.
Head coach Aaron Glenn was noncommittal about Wilson’s status for this Thursday, but ESPN reporter Rich Cimini suggests it’s a multi-week injury that could sideline the Jets star wide receiver for a month, making him a potential candidate for injured reserve (IR).
Dalton Kincaid (TE – BUF)
Dalton Kincaid was coming off his best game of the season in Week 9, catching all six of his targets for over 101 yards and a touchdown, scoring 22.1 PPR points and finishing as the TE3 in Week 9. He caught two passes on three targets for 37 yards in the first half this past weekend before exiting the game with a hamstring injury.
Kincaid has yet to practice and could miss multiple games. He is listed as week-to-week, according to head coach Sean McDermott.
Jordan Mason (RB – MIN)
Jordan Mason continued to get outplayed by Aaron Jones in Week 10, handling a season-low six touches for 31 yards from scrimmage and playing on only 24.6% of the Vikings’ offensive snaps.
Jones carries significant injury risk as we have already seen this season; however, as long as he is healthy, Mason looks to be nothing more than a high upside handcuff with minimal stand-alone value.
