Week 12 IDP Waiver Wire

Linebacker

Terrel Bernard (LB – BUF): 7% rostered on Yahoo
Bernard showed up in Week 11, tallying eight solos, three assists, two tackles for loss, and two passes defended. The Bills’ middle linebacker has recorded four or more solos in six of his last seven games, but has failed to make good on his LB1 upside this season, producing more in line with a low-end LB2. Tap Bernard as a top-25 option for a plus Week 12 matchup against the Houston Texans. Make the add wherever available.

Cody Barton (LB – TEN): 5% rostered on Yahoo
Cody Barton showed up in Week 11, racking up two solos, three assists, one sack, one tackle for loss, and three passes defended. Barton has fallen off a cliff in the solo department, failing to top two solos since all the way back in Week 5, but has still managed to secure back-to-back spike weeks thanks to a pick six and a sack. Treat the Titans’ everydown linebacker as an LB3 option for a plus Week 12 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks.

Quincy Williams (LB – NYJ): 4% rostered on Yahoo
Quincy Williams was at it again in Week 11, ripping off six solos, two assists, and one tackle for loss. All it took was the Jets to demote him for Quincy to step it up and put together two LB1-level outings. Treat the motivated linebacker as a top-15 option for a plus Week 12 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens. Make the add in all competitive leagues.

Devin Bush (LB – CLE): 8% rostered on Yahoo
Devin Bush showed up in Week 11, racking up two solos, two assists, one interception, one pass defended, and one touchdown. Bush has struggled in the solo tackle department over the last four weeks, dropping him to LB3 status for the foreseeable future. Even this spike week was a forgettable day outside of the pick six. Still, he has more than enough upside to keep tapping as an LB3/4 option. Make the add where needed.

Dee Winters (LB – SF): 6% rostered on Yahoo
Dee Winters showed up in Week 11, tallying five solos, five assists, and one tackle for loss. Winters has bounced between LB2 and LB3 value this season due to inconsistency. The 49ers linebacker has slowed considerably since his hot start over the first four weeks of the season. Tap Dee as a top-25 option for a plus Week 12 matchup against the Carolina Panthers. Make the add where needed.

Defensive Line

Dallas Turner (DE/LB – MIN): 1% rostered on Yahoo
Dallas Turner showed up in Week 11, reeling off two solos, five assists, one sack, two tackles for loss, and one pass defended. The talented edge rusher was able to take advantage of Jonathan Greenard’s absence to record his first full sack since Week 2. Now up to 2.5 on the season, Turner should get at least one more start with Greenard missing both Thursday and Friday practices last week. Tap Dallas as a DL3 option for a plus Week 12 matchup against the Green Bay Packers. Make the add where needed.

Elijah Ponder (DE/LB – NE): 0% rostered on Yahoo
Ponder was excellent in Week 11, notching three solos, two assists, one sack, and one tackle for loss. The Patriots’ edge rusher has now registered a sack in back-to-back weeks and deserves to be rostered in the deepest of leagues. He played just 28 percent of the snaps in Week 11, but should continue to see his role expand due to his recent production. Make the stash where needed.

Josh Hines-Allen (DE/LB – JAC): 7% rostered on Yahoo
Josh Hines-Allen was excellent in Week 11, tallying two solos, two assists, one sack, one tackle for loss, and one pass defended. Hines-Allen is starting to heat up, as 2.5 of his three sacks on the season have come in two of his last three games. The sack made him the franchise leader in sacks. JHA’s sack total is nothing to write home about, but he is eighth in the league with 23 pressures. For context, that is more than T.J. Watt (22), Danielle Hunter (20), and Tuli Tuipulotu (21). Tap JHA as a top-25 option for Week 12, thanks to a plus matchup against the Arizona Cardinals.

Myles Murphy (DE – CIN): 0% rostered on Yahoo
Myles Murphy showed up in Week 11, reeling off four solos, three assists, one sack, and one tackle for loss. Murphy is making the most of the extra burn he is getting with both Trey Hendrickson and Shermar Stewart sidelined, tallying his first sack since Week 5. Myles is up to a solid 2.5 sacks on the season and can be treated as a DL3 option for a plus Week 12 matchup against the New England Patriots.

Arik Armstead (DT – JAC): 0% rostered on Yahoo
Armstead was excellent in Week 11, racking up two solos, one assist, one sack, and two tackles for loss. Now up to an impressive 5.5 sacks on the season, Arik has notched a sack in each of his last two games. Tap Armstead as a top-25 DL option for a plus Week 12 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals. Make the add wherever available.

Defensive Back

Ronnie Harrison (S/LB – ATL): 3% rostered on Yahoo
Harrison was at it again in Week 11, tallying nine solos, two assists, one sack, one tackle for loss, and one pass defended. Ronnie is starting to heat up for Atlanta, registering five or more solos in each of his last two games. It took him a couple of games, but the veteran safety is starting to make an impact for the Falcons since being signed to the active roster in Week 8. Tap Harrison as a borderline DB2 option for a plus Week 12 matchup against the New Orleans Saints.

Kyle Dugger (S – PIT): 0% rostered on Yahoo
Dugger showed up in Week 11, racking up three solos, one interception, two passes defended, and one touchdown. Dugger has been playing an everydown role for the Steelers, but has yet to flash his DB1 skills outside of the pick six. For now, treat him as a DB2/3 de[emdomg on the matchup. Tap him as a DB2 option for Week 12, thanks to a plus matchup against the Chicago Bears. Make the add in all competitive leagues.

Cole Bishop (S – BUF): 5% rostered on Yahoo
Bishop was at it again in Week 11, reeling off three solos, three assists, one interception, and one pass defended. Cole has snagged a pick in back-to-back games and is creeping closer and closer to top-15 status. For now, continue to treat him as a top-25 option. The Bills’ safety should be added wherever available, even if it is just to block your rivals.

Jordan Poyer (S – BUF): 0% rostered on Yahoo
Poyer showed up in Week 11, racking up seven solos, eight assists, and one pass defended in a throwback performance. Poyer played a season high 83 percent of the snaps against Tampa Bay and marks the second straight week he’s been above 80 percent. Feel free to add the veteran safety where needed as a DB3 with DB2 upside where needed ahead of a plus Week 12 matchup against the Houston Texans.

Amani Hooker (S – TEN): 4% rostered on Yahoo
Hooker was excellent in Week 11, reeling off eight solos, one assist, and one pass defended. Amani is in the midst of his most productive three game stretch of the season and has recorded six or more solos in each of his last two. Count Hooker as an upside DB3 option for a plus Week 12 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. Make the add where needed.
