Fantasy Football Start/Sit: Juwan Johnson, David Njoku, Nico Collins

Sometimes fantasy football feels like a weekly science experiment gone wrong. One minute you’re mixing the perfect lineup formula, the next you’re covered in the radioactive fallout of a three-point dud. Week 10 is no different, with injuries, bye weeks, and unexpected breakout candidates all bubbling over. Fortunately, our Featured Pros have donned their lab coats (and helmets) to identify which players deserve a start in your lineup and which ones might just blow up your matchup for all the wrong reasons.

Fantasy Football Week 10 Start/Sit Advice

Sleepers

Which player outside of the top 100 in the FantasyPros Flex rankings is a good sleeper start, and why do you think he has upside this week?

Juwan Johnson (TE – NO)

Juwan Johnson is a sneaky Week 10 sleeper. He’s quietly heating up with three straight TE1 finishes, earning 19 targets and 163 yards over that span. With Rashid Shaheed traded and rookie quarterback Tyler Shough favoring short throws (5.4 air yards per attempt), Johnson’s target volume should stay strong. The matchup also lines up. Carolina ranks 13th in fantasy points allowed to tight ends and 20th in expected points added (EPA) allowed to tight ends. Rostered in just 35% of leagues, Johnson is a strong streaming option for managers navigating injuries or bye weeks.”

David Njoku (TE – CLE)

“Fantasy owners who are streaming tight end, or had Tucker Kraft, and are scouring the waiver wire for a replacement as the season progresses, need to consider adding David Njoku. He has played in seven games this year, averaging just under six targets per game. Bring on the reeling New York Jets defense that is now without Quinnen Williams and Sauce Gardner, who were traded at the deadline, and there should be some points to be had for the Cleveland Browns offense, even though it is not stellar either. Njoku has shown TE1 ability in the past, and with a rookie quarterback, he could get back into that realm, along with his running mate Harold Fannin Jr.

Duds

Which player inside the top 40 in the FantasyPros Flex rankings is likely to disappoint fantasy managers this week?

Nico Collins (WR – HOU)

Nico Collins versus the Jacksonville Jaguars. C.J. Stroud is likely going to be out for this matchup due to a concussion, which means it will be Davis Mills under center for the Houston Texans. Aside from the obvious quarterback issues, this is not good for Nico Collins because the offensive play-calling in Houston this year has been a disaster, and the offensive line has been a complete mess. Against a very good Jaguars defense, this could get very shaky for Nico Collins. You can still start Collins this week, just maybe temper your expectations for him a bit.”
