Fantasy Football Start’em, Sit’em Lineup Advice

Dalton Schultz (TE – HOU)

Since Week 3, Dalton Schultz has had an 18.2% target share with 48.9 receiving yards per game, 1.60 yards per route run and a 20.4% first-read share, per Fantasy Points Data. In those nine games, he has seen six red-zone targets, five deep targets and averaged 10.7 PPR points per game. Schultz should be a strong TE1 in two of the next three weeks. The Colts and Cardinals have bled out production to tight ends all season. Indianapolis has allowed the second-most receiving yards and fantasy points per game to the position. Arizona has given up the ninth-most receiving yards and the eighth-most fantasy points per game to tight ends.

Jacoby Brissett (QB – ARI)

Arizona’s passing attack has been far more efficient since Brissett took over under center. The veteran quarterback has completed 67.1% of his pass attempts for 314.5 yards, 1.8 touchdowns, and 20.9 fantasy points per game in his six starts, totaling at least two touchdowns and 19.4 fantasy points in all but one contest. Last week, he had 317 passing yards, a touchdown, and 18.7 fantasy points. More importantly, Brissett has been sneaky good with his legs, totaling 20 or more rushing yards in three of the past five games.

Not only has the veteran been productive since taking over as the starter, but Brissett has finished every week as a top-12 quarterback. That streak should continue in Week 13 against the Buccaneers. Tampa Bay’s pass defense has struggled this season, allowing 1.7 passing touchdowns and 19.4 fantasy points per game to quarterbacks. Furthermore, they’ve given up 286.7 passing yards, 2.7 touchdowns, and 27.9 fantasy points per game to quarterbacks since their bye week, allowing at least 18.1 in every contest. Brissett is a borderline must-start quarterback in Week 13.

Brenton Strange (TE – JAX)

Brenton Strange returned from a hip injury in Week 12 with a strong performance. He had a wonderful matchup against Arizona, which he made the most of with a 70.9% snap share, a 71.4% route share and a 16.6% target share, per PFF. He turned all of that usage into five receptions for 93 yards. I don’t expect Strange to do that weekly, but he could come close to this stat line in Week 14 against the Colts. Indianapolis has allowed the fifth-most schedule-adjusted fantasy points per game to tight ends.
