The Texans and TE Dalton Schultz have agreed to terms on a one-year extension worth $12.6 million.

Schultz will now earn $17.6 million guaranteed combining the 2026 and 2027 seasons. He was a safety blanket for CJ Stroud for much of last season and that will likely remain the case again this upcoming year.
