Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Pickups & Stashes: WRs & TEs

With Week 12 almost behind us — the San Francisco 49ers and Carolina Panthers still have to play on Monday Night Football — it’s time to look ahead to Week 13 and which players we should look to pick up at the wide receiver and tight end positions off the fantasy football waiver wire.

In Week 13, no team is on bye. See below for my top pickups and stashes ahead of Week 13.

Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Targets & Stashes

All players listed below are rostered in 30% or fewer of Yahoo! leagues.

WR Handcuffs, Targets & Stashes

Andrei Iosivas (WR – CIN) | 20% Rostered

Andrei Iosivas led the Bengals in receiving in their loss to the New England Patriots, catching four passes for 61 yards. Ja’Marr Chase was suspended for this game.

However, Iosivas could be in a No. 2 WR role once again next week, as fellow wide receiver Tee Higgins left with a concussion and the Bengals play on a short week, taking on the Baltimore Ravens on the road, on Thanksgiving.

Jayden Higgins (WR – HOU) | 22% Rostered

Jayden Higgins has been quite productive lately, catching 13 passes for 135 yards and two touchdowns over his last three games. He’s also averaging nearly eight targets per game over that stretch.

Chimere Dike (WR – TEN) | 14% Rostered

Wide receiver Elic Ayomanor missed this game, opening Chimere Dike up to No. 1 WR-type usage against the Seattle Seahawks. He’ll still see his fair share of targets when Ayomanor returns to the lineup.

Dike caught five passes on seven targets for 44 yards and a touchdown in Week 12. He also scored on a return touchdown.

FantasyPros Fantasy Football Start-Sit Assistant

Luther Burden III (WR – CLE) | 11% Rostered

Luther Burden caught three passes for 46 yards on five targets in the Bears’ win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. He’s had five targets in back-to-back games. Burden is a solid stash as the season progresses on a top-six offense in yards per game.

Greg Dortch (WR – ARI) | 9% Rostered

In the Cardinals’ overtime loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, Greg Dortch caught six passes for 53 yards and a touchdown on nine targets.

Sure, there was overtime, but Dortch also caught six passes for 66 yards and a touchdown last week. His role could be diminished when Marvin Harrison Jr. returns, but he’s worth a stash in deep leagues.

Isaiah Hodgins (WR – NYG) | 0% Rostered

Isaiah Hodgins was a waiver wire target last week and is one again this week. He caught two passes for 42 yards and a touchdown on six targets.

Last week, Hodgins caught five passes for 57 yards on six targets. He’ll suit up next on Monday Night Football on the road against the New England Patriots.

Tyler Lockett (WR – LV) | 2% Rostered

Tyler Lockett has had a nice three-game stretch, catching 12 passes on 14 targets for 139 yards. He hasn’t found the end zone, but he’s been a decent deep league Flex play on a team that will be playing from behind more often than not.

TE Handcuffs, Targets & Stashes

Brenton Strange (TE – JAX) | 13% Rostered

Brenton Strange has been on this list of pickups for weeks, and in his first game back, he caught five passes for 93 yards. He’ll be a great low-to-mid-tier TE1 the rest of the season with the Titans on deck in Week 13.
