Week 11 IDP Waiver Wire

Linebacker

Quincy Williams (LB – NYJ): 4% rostered on Yahoo
Quincy Williams had a mini revenge game on his own team in Week 10, racking up five solos, three assists, one sack, and two tackles for loss on 71 percent of the snaps. He hit Quinnen Williams‘ signature celebration after recording his sack. The snap count was a major surprise for fantasy managers and Jets fans alike as Quincy was demoted as a starter in favor of journeyman Mykal Walker. Quincy produced despite losing his starting role and has now strung together back-to-back plus outings since returning from injury. Williams was rumored to be discussed as a package with his brother, Quinnen, to Dallas before they acquired Logan Wilson, but when the Jets realized they were stuck with him, they decided to demote him. The role uncertainty lowers his floor, so treat him as more of a low-end LB2 for Week 11, despite the plus Week 11 matchup against the New England Patriots. Add Quincy wherever available.

Jack Gibbens (LB – NE): 0% rostered on Yahoo
Gibbens was excellent in Week 10, reeling off five solos, five assists, one tackle for loss, and one pass defended. Gibbens failed to wrestle the job from Christian Elliss as many expected him to, but got the start for Week 10 due to Ellis dealing with a hip injury. Gibbens will produce when he gets starter’s snaps and should be stashed where possible in the event Elliss misses more action. If he gets another start, treat Gibbens as an LB3 with LB2 upside for a plus Week 11 matchup against the New York Jets. Stash Gibbens where roster space allows.

Dee Winters (LB – SF): 5% rostered on Yahoo
Winters was excellent in Week 10, tallying five solos, three assists, and one tackle for loss. Dee is starting to heat back up after a quiet three game stretch from Week 5 to Week 7. Winters has registered five or more solos in two of his last three games and should be counted as a low floor, high upside LB2 option for a plus Week 11 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals. Make the addFalcons’ where needed.

Drake Thomas (LB – SEA): 4% rostered on Yahoo
Drake was at it again in Week 10, stacking four solos, two assists, and two tackles for loss. Thomas has been an easy LB2 play since stealing the job from Tyrice Knight, but it would surprise most to know that he has actually been the LB8 in fppg since Week 4. While it is not yet time to start treating him as an LB1 for IDP purposes, the weekly upside is obviously there. Start him with confidence everywhere as a sneaky top-15 option for a plus Week 11 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams.

Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles (LB – NYG): 0% rostered on Yahoo
DFF was excellent in Week 10, racking up five solos, two assists, and one tackle for loss. Flanningan-Fowles was set to steal the starting job anyway, but is now seeing an even larger role than expected due to Darius Muasau (ankle) being placed on IR. DFF will be inconsistent but has produced over the last two weeks, making him an upside LB3 option for a plus Week 11 matchup against the Green Bay Packers. Add and start Flannigan-Fowles where needed.

Defensive Line

Jalon Walker (DE/LB – ATL): 4% rostered on Yahoo
Jalon was at it again in Week 10, stacking four solos, two assists, one sack, one tackle for loss, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery on a career high 65 percent of the snaps. Walker is suddenly the DL18 due to massive back-to-back spike weeks and looks to have entered his name into the Rookie Defensive Player of the Year mix in the process. Fire Walker up as an easy DL2 play while he is cooking. Treat him as such for a plus Week 11 matchup against the Carolina Panthers.

Will McDonald (DE – NYJ): 1% rostered on Yahoo
Will McDonald went bonkers in Week 10, exploding with four solos, one assist, four sacks, and four tackles for loss against the Cleveland Browns. Now up to seven sacks on the season, McDonald has recorded five of them in his last two games alone. Fire the hot edge rusher up as a DL2 option for Week 11, thanks to both his recent production and the tasty matchup against the New England Patriots.

Jonathan Allen (DT – MIN): 3% rostered on Yahoo
Allen showed up again in Week 10, tallying four solos, one sack, and two tackles for loss. Allen has registered one sack in two of his last three and at least a half sack in three of his last four. The Vikings defensive tackle has tallied all of his 2.5 sacks on the season in his last four games. Slap him back into the DT1 mix for a plus Week 11 matchup against the Chicago Bears. Add him as a low-end DT1/DL3 where needed.

Nic Scourton (DE/LB – CAR): 0% rostered on Yahoo
Scourton was excellent in Week 10, tallying two solos, two assists, one sack, and one tackle for loss. Scourton has registered at least a half sack in three of his last four games; all three of the rookie’s career sacks have come in that stretch. Tap the Panthers’ edge rusher as a DL3 option for a plus Week 11 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons. Add and start Scourton where needed.

Khalil Mack (DE/LB – LAC): 3% rostered on Yahoo
Mack was excellent in Week 10, racking up one solo, two assists, one sack, one tackle for loss, and one forced fumble on 73 percent of the snaps. Mack has recorded a sack in three of his last four games and in four of his six games overall. Count Khalil as a DL2 option for a plus Week 11 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Add Mack wherever available in competitive leagues.

Defensive Back

C.J. Gardner-Johnson (S – CHI): 2% rostered on Yahoo
CJGJ went bonkers in Week 10, reeling off seven solos, two assists, two sacks, two tackles for loss, and one forced fumble. Gardner-Johnson has been a DB1 since being signed by the Bears and should be treated as one for a plus Week 11 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings. Add and start the talented safety as a top-10 option wherever possible.

Cole Bishop (S – BUF): 3% rostered on Yahoo
Bishop was at it again in Week 10, tallying six solos, one assist, one interception, and one pass defended. Bishop has now posted back-to-back spike weeks and has solidified himself as a DB2 play in the process. The talented young safety appears to be getting more comfortable in the Bills’ defense and is making the type of impact IDP managers expected when he was drafted. Tap Bishop as a top-25 option for a plus Week 11 matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Xavier Watts (S – ATL): 4% rostered on Yahoo
Watts showed up in Week 10, racking up six solos and five assists. This was the best fantasy outing since Week 3 for the Falcons safety, who has slipped to become more of a DB2/3 than a DB2 due to his floor. He still has promising upside, as evidenced by his performance from Week 1 to Week 4, when he was the S12 overall, but he needs to become more consistent. Tap Watts as a borderline DB2 option for a plus Week 11 matchup against the Carolina Panthers.

Harrison Smith (S – MIN): 1% rostered on Yahoo
Harrison Smith was at it again in Week 10, generating five solos, two assists, and one forced fumble. The veteran safety has provided DB2 value since the Vikings’ bye week and should be counted as one for a plus Week 11 matchup against the Chicago Bears. Smith should be on far more rosters. Make the add in all competitive leagues.

Nick Emmanwori (S/CB – SEA): 1% rostered on Yahoo
Emmanwori was excellent in Week 10, tallying five solos, four assists, 0.5 sacks, and four passes defended. The rookie has recorded five solos in back-to-back games and is starting to become an IDP force. There will be some inconsistency for the rookie, but he now has a regular role as he has moved to the slot to make way for Ty Okada, who got the tap at strong safety with Julian Love still dealing with a hamstring injury. Tap Emmanwori as a DB3 with easy DB2 upside for a plus Week 11 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams.
