Jerami Grant (PF – POR)
Jerami Grant missed 14 consecutive games while dealing with an Achilles injury, a lengthy absence that understandably led many fantasy managers to move on. Since returning, though, Grant has wasted little time making an impact, even while operating under a minutes restriction. Across two games, he has averaged 19 points, 2.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and one block in just 22.5 minutes per contest, showing that his production remains intact despite the limited workload.
The Portland Trail Blazers only have a two-game schedule in Week 14, and Grant is likely to continue seeing capped minutes, but this is a classic buy-ahead opportunity for managers focused on long-term value. As his conditioning improves and restrictions are lifted, his role and production should trend upward. Before the injury, Grant was playing at a high level, averaging 22.3 points, 5.6 rebounds and 3.3 assists while logging 34 minutes per game over his previous seven contests. That level of output makes him well worth stashing now before his minutes and fantasy impact fully rebound.
Naji Marshall (SF, PF – DAL)
Anthony Davis (hand) has missed the Dallas Mavericks’ last five games, opening the door for Naji Marshall to take on a significantly larger role. Marshall has capitalized on the opportunity, delivering well-rounded production by averaging 19.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, five assists and two steals during that stretch. His ability to contribute in multiple categories has made him a reliable fantasy option rather than just a short-term fill-in.
With Davis expected to miss additional time, Marshall’s expanded workload should remain intact, keeping his usage and minutes elevated. As long as Davis remains sidelined, Marshall’s across-the-board contributions give him strong value in most fantasy formats.

Collin Murray-Boyles (PF – TOR)
There have been plenty of exciting rookies to follow this season, but Collin Murray-Boyles has quietly stood out with the energy and versatility he brings every time he steps on the floor. His ability to defend multiple positions and stay active on both ends has helped him carve out a meaningful role, especially with the Toronto Raptors navigating a wave of injuries throughout January, including Jakob Poeltl (back).
Murray-Boyles has made the most of his increased opportunity, averaging 11.4 points, 7.6 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.6 steals and 1.2 blocks while logging 32.6 minutes per game. That across-the-board production highlights his fantasy-friendly profile, particularly in category formats. Even as the Raptors begin to get healthier, his recent performance should help him maintain a larger role in the rotation.
Brice Sensabaugh (SF – UTH)
Brice Sensabaugh has been on an impressive scoring run, pouring in at least 25 points in four of his last five games while averaging 25.6 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.2 assists over that stretch. The young wing has never lacked confidence as a scorer, and this recent surge highlights the upside he can provide when given consistent minutes and a green light offensively.
In the past, Sensabaugh’s production has fluctuated due to uneven efficiency and a limited role, but that has changed with Lauri Markkanen (illness) sidelined for the past four games. Sensabaugh has seized the expanded opportunity and should continue to see elevated usage as long as Markkanen remains out. He is a classic hot-hand add for fantasy managers, worth riding while the minutes and shot volume remain high.

Tim Hardaway Jr. (SG, SF – DEN)
While the Denver Nuggets continue to work through a stretch plagued by injuries, Tim Hardaway Jr. has consistently stepped up to fill the void. He has been especially productive in January, averaging 18.8 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.3 assists while logging 31.6 minutes per game. His scoring has been reliable regardless of role, providing steady fantasy value whether he is in the starting lineup or coming off the bench.
Hardaway’s consistency and shot volume make him a strong short-term addition, particularly in category leagues that need a scoring boost. With Denver still short-handed, his expanded role should remain intact until Christian Braun (ankle) and Cameron Johnson (knee) return. As long as those absences persist, Hardaway is well-positioned to continue delivering dependable scoring production.
Brandon Williams (PG – DAL)
With Cooper Flagg (ankle) sidelined, Brandon Williams has stepped into a larger role and made the most of his increased opportunities. Over that span, he has averaged 20 points, 4.3 rebounds, three assists and one steal while playing 25.9 minutes per game, providing a noticeable offensive spark when the team has needed it most.
Williams has long been recognized for his scoring ability, and the expanded workload has allowed that skill set to shine. As long as Flagg remains out, Williams should continue to see elevated minutes and usage, making him a strong short-term fantasy option.
