Suggested Lineup Stacks
The Cubs have the best matchup on tonight’s eight-game slate. Among the 16 probable starters, Michael Lorenzen has the highest ERA (7.54), the highest xERA (5.67), the eighth-highest xFIP (4.36) and the eighth-highest SIERA (4.46) in 2026.
The veteran righty has also ceded a .387 wOBA to lefties and a .342 wOBA to righties since last season. In addition, Colorado’s relievers are 29th in ERA (5.21) this season.
The Athletics return to Sutter Health Park tonight after playing back-to-back series in Las Vegas. Their temporary home remains one of MLB’s best hitting environments, and Jared Jones isn’t an imposing matchup.
Jones has a 4.73 ERA, 5.24 xERA, 4.00 xFIP and 3.93 SIERA in three starts this season. Athletics lefties have the best matchup against Jones, as the right-handed hurler has yielded a .505 wOBA to 33 left-handed batters this year.
