3 Overvalued Fantasy Football Draft Picks to Avoid on MFL (2026)

MyFantasyLeague (MFL) is not only a hosting platform for various fantasy football leagues but also houses its own average draft position (ADP) data. This allows us to compare its ADP with FantasyPros’ consensus ADP to spot differences in value.

Below are three players who are overpriced on MFL.

Overvalued Fantasy Football Players to Avoid on MFL

Carnell Tate (WR – TEN) | MFL ADP: WR22

According to the data on FantasyPros, Carnell Tate has an ADP of WR29 in PPR leagues. I think Tate is an excellent receiver and was worth his draft pick, but I believe there are too many “cooks in the kitchen” from a receiver standpoint, along with a young quarterback and a new coaching staff, to feel good about him being a firm WR2.

Remember, the Titans have Chimere Dike and Elic Ayomanor, plus Tony Pollard in the backfield. Calvin Ridley will eventually be back. And, oh yeah — there’s also the receiver they spent nearly $80 million on — Wan’Dale Robinson.

Something else to consider with Robinson is that the Titans’ new play-caller, Brian Daboll, was his head coach with the Giants in New York, so there could be a bit of favoritism in how Robinson understands the offense and where he needs to be. Not only that, but Sports Illustrated’s Nick Arvin thinks Robinson will be the top target in this offense.

Can Cam Ward support two fantasy WR2s or better? I’m not there with him yet.

Josh Jacobs (RB – GB) | MFL ADP: RB18

FantasyPros has Josh Jacobs as the RB18, so there’d actually be some value at MFL, but I don’t know — maybe it’s just me. This legal situation he’s dealing with feels like a big deal, not only for off-the-field implications but also for his availability on the field.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Jacobs could still be suspended by the NFL for violating the personal conduct policy. Not only that, but he suffered a groin injury, and head coach Matt LaFleur said he’d be out at least a week.

Unless the value is way too good to pass up, stay clear of Jacobs.

Malik Nabers (WR – NYG) | MFL ADP: WR8

Right now, Malik Nabers has an ADP of WR12 on FantasyPros, and that’s better than his MFL WR8 ADP. I worry a bit about his knee, though ESPN’s Jordan Raanan said that, barring a setback, Nabers should be out there in Week 1.

Even if that’s true, there are a few things to consider, the main one being that Nabers and Jaxson Dart haven’t really worked together much. During the regular season, Nabers ran just 12 routes with Dart as his quarterback, catching two passes for 20 yards.

Nabers is without a doubt more than talented enough to be the WR8, but there are some red flags. I’d feel a bit more comfortable with some of the receivers drafted later, such as George Pickens, A.J. Brown and Nico Collins. They don’t have Nabers’ ceiling, but they’re a bit safer.

Full disclosure: This is one I hope I’m wrong about, but I have to bring it up.
