View More NotesIf the Chargers didn't exist, the Cowboys would take the award for most disappointing Week 1 performance. Getting dominated by their divisional rival Giants, this was not the Cowboys many praised heading into the season. Even with an elite receiver duo, the Giants held CeeDee Lamb and Pickens to a combined 72 yards. All offseason, we heard reports that Pickens had potentially supplanted Lamb as the top target in the offense. In Week 1, this was not the case, however, they have another divisional game on tap this week. The Commanders held the Eagles receivers in check for the most part; however, they let Dallas Goedert accumulate 77 yards and two scores. On paper, this Commanders' defense should not threaten the Cowboys offense. It's too early to panic, but if the Cowboys can't get it done against the Commanders, we may need to reevaluate our preseason opinions of this offense.

Pickens had an extremely disappointing start to the season on Sunday night. He was held to just 28 yards on three catches in the team's first game of the season after being hyped up as an elite fantasy prospect throughout the preseason. He should bounce back and play better than this moving forward, but his week-to-week floor may be lower than some realize if Dallas' offense struggles with consistency this season.
