Player Note on Pat Freiermuth (TE - PIT)
This game should push the Steelers to throw the ball more than they have all season. That's good news for their pass catchers.

Player Note on Travis Etienne Jr. (RB - JAC)
This is a tough matchup for Etienne, as the Lions are one of the best run defenses in the league and Mac Jones will start for Trevor Lawrence this week. The good news is that Tank Bigsby is out, so Etienne should be in line for a strong workload on the ground and through the air.

Player Note on Nick Chubb (RB - CLE)
This will be Chubb's easiest test since returning. Even if he's not his old self, he still should find some room to roam against the Saints poor run defense.

Player Note on Josh Jacobs (RB - GB)
The Bears are a run funnel defense and their offense has been crappy, which should give the Packers plenty of time and success n the run game.

Player Note on Alvin Kamara (RB - NO)
The Browns defense hasn't been as good as we expected this season and Kamara has been better than we expected. As long as he's getting receiving work and goal line work, he's a top play every week.

Player Note on Bijan Robinson (RB - ATL)
Bijan has looked great of late and the strong Broncos defense is slightly worse against the run than pass. And Robinson gets enough work as a receiver to keep him as a top play in every game.

Player Note on Derrick Henry (RB - BAL)
This is a tough matchup for Henry, but we know he can take over any game, especially when teams have to use resources to stop Lamar Jackson from running as well. I don't like him to have an upside game, but he usually finds a way into the end zone once or twice every week.

Player Note on De'Von Achane (RB - MIA)
Achane is set up well once again, as the team wants Tua to get the ball out quickly and that means a lot of looks to Achane in the receiving game. Add to that a good matchup on the ground and Achane could go off big this week.

Player Note on Dawson Knox (TE - BUF)
Knox should get a nice bump in work with Dalton Kincaid out and the Chiefs great defense is weakest against tight ends.

Player Note on Kyle Pitts (TE - ATL)
Charlie Woerner is out, which should help Pitts stay on the field this week.

Featured Pros: Early Bust Candidates
What RB in our consensus top 24 should fantasy owners fear the most as a bust candidate?
Derrick Henry:
I like Henry and believe his upside is well within the Top-25 running backs this season, but his path there isn't as easy as some because Dion Lewis stands in his way. Lewis is a better three-down back than Henry, which means Henry will most likely need consistent leads to salt away in the fourth quarter to keep Lewis from out-snapping him each game. I'll take Lewis' versatility over Henry's early down work every draft.
What WR in our consensus top 24 should fantasy owners fear the most as a bust candidate?
JuJu Smith Schuster is someone I'm not going to reach for this season. His numbers were incredible last year, especially his seven touchdowns and 917 yards on just 58 receptions. That's a healthy yards per reception and touchdown ratio to repeat and I like the addition of James Washington and Vance McDonald enough to believe he's being taken too early this season.

Featured Pros: Breakout Candidates
What RB has the best shot of having a breakout year in 2018?
I like Tarik Cohen for his breakout potential this season. He never really had a chance in John Fox's offense but with Matt Nagy coming over from Kansas City, I see Cohen getting plenty of work as a receiver and even as a runner. Jordan Howard is good and will get his, but a more diverse offense calls for a player like Tyreek Hill, whom Nagy recognized was more than just a big playmaker but someone who could be used consistently.
What WR has the best shot of having a breakout year in 2018?
There are a lot of possibilities here but I'll go with the Patriots receiver Chris Hogan. Since joining the Patriots in 2016, Hogan has 72 receptions from 117 targets - 61.5 percent - for 1,119 yards and nine touchdowns and now he should be in line for the big play lead in this offense with Brandin Cooks gone.
What TE has the best shot of having a breakout year in 2018?
Vance McDonald is my pick for breakout tight end. If I knew he would be healthy, I would probably have him as a Top-5 tight end this year but staying healthy has been tough for him. As a part-time player toward the end of the season and into the playoffs he caught 24 of 36 targets for 300 yards and a touchdown and looked great while doing so. The difference between McDonald and Jesse James was stark when watching and McDonald will beat him out this season if healthy.
