Featured Pros: Spring Training Risers & Fallers
Who has seen their fantasy stock rise the most for you based on spring training?
I was in on Delino DeShields all along, but the Rangers solidifying his hold on the leadoff spot keeps the ADP rising. It's still a ticket worth paying, however. Consider what Double D produced in 80 leadoff games last year: .350 OBP, 63 runs, six homers, 22 steals. He's still just 25. Jump on board.

Who has seen their fantasy stock fall the most for you based on spring training?
Generally I'm allergic to buzz, so I probably wasn't going to draft Shohei Ohtani anyway. I'm concerned his part-time offensive work could be a distraction, and he also has to deal with the cultural adjustment, the different style and workload of play, and a ton of media attention. And keep in mind Ohtani is also coming off ankle surgery and an elbow injury. It's dangerous to put a lot of stock in spring training results, but Ohtani's bloated ERA isn't a shock, either. He'll be a good one eventually, but I'm not getting in on the ground floor.

Featured Pros: MLB ADP Stock Watch
What one hitter stands out as being drafted too early based on consensus ADP standings.
I'm not chasing specialists in the early part of my draft. Looking at you, Billy Hamilton. I always feel you can find cheap speed the middle and late portions of any draft, and rabbits have a low barrier of entry during the year. Maybe you'll wind up with a Mallex Smith, or a Cameron Maybin, or a Carlos Gomez, or some nondescript speedster who shows up midyear. Forget Hams.

What one pitcher stands out as being drafted too early based on consensus ADP standings.
Shohei Ohtani is going to be a great pitcher someday, and maybe that day is Opening Day. But with the burden of hitting (and maybe even pinch-running), a culture change, a media blitz, and some ADP helium, I'll sit this one out. I'm allergic to buzz. Fear of Missing Out is not a fantasy strategy.

Early Overvalued Players
Which hitter in our consensus rankings is the most overvalued and why?
People love to bet on the come with juicy prospects, but Gregory Polanco hasn't simply failed to progress, he's fallen backwards. Some injury excuses here, but that 2016 line wasn't a winner, either. I need a show-me year, and if you beat me with him, good for you.

Which pitcher in our consensus rankings is the most overvalued and why?
No one denies James Paxton's upside, but it will be priced into his cost and I'm not playing that way.
