Kirk Nieuwenhuis homers for Brewers' only run

Kirk Nieuwenhuis, who entered the game in the second inning for Keon Broxton after he was forced to leave the game when he was struck in the face with a pitch, smacked a solo homer in the seventh inning to give the Brewers a 1-0 lead. The Brewers went on to lose 2-1, while Nieuwenhuis finished the game 1-for-3 with the solo homer and two strikeouts.
Fantasy Impact:
Broxton is not expected to land on the DL but could miss a game or two. If Broxton does miss any time, Nieuwenhuis is a candidate to start in CF, although the Brewers will face a lefty on Friday so they may choose to go with a right-handed bat. Nieuwenhuis is not worth fantasy consideration.
