Brock Stassi hits first Major League home run in loss
by Kerry Kauffman | Mon, Apr 10th 10:38pm EDT
The Phillies blew a 2-0 lead and fell to the Mets by the score of 4-3. One highlight for the Phillies was the first Major League home run for Brock Stassi, who started for Tommy Joseph. Stassi's home run was also his first Major League hit. He finished 1-for-4 with a strikeout and is batting .125 this season.
Fantasy Impact:
Stassi, a 27-year old rookie, had an excellent spring and has shown a good eye at the plate, walking three times in 11 plate appearances. With Tommy Joseph likely to see most of the action, Stassi's fantasy value is limited. However, should Joseph struggle, Stassi would get the opportunity to see what he can do.
