Nick Tepesch hit hard in first start of the year
by Kevin Black | Sat, May 6th 10:02pm EDT
Nick Tepesch is serving as a starter at the moment in the Minnesota Twins rotation and his first outing of the year did not go as planned. Despite only allowing a single earned run, Tepesch was on the mound for seven runs before getting pulled with two outs in the second inning.
Fantasy Impact:
Tepesch is a 28-year-old right-hander who is really a placeholder for the pending re-arrival of Jose Berrios into the rotation. Berrios has been pitching well at Triple-A Rochester and could be arriving in Minnesota sooner rather than later, especially if Tepesch struggles in a similar fashion moving forward.
