Yasmany Tomas sent to Reno

Yasmany Tomas was sent to Triple-A Reno on Sunday as the club makes their final cuts. Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo said the reason they sent him down was to work on his defense, hoping he can become "an above average defender." (AZ Central on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Yasmany Tomas was having a pretty good spring training showing with a .370 OBP, but the Diamondbacks have lost faith in him to be a major league player. It's going to take an injury for Tomas to even be considered for part time at-bats.
