Xander Bogaerts went 1-for-4 on Thursday vs the Rays. He doubled and walked in the home opener for the Red Sox.

Bogaerts now has an MLB leading six doubles on the season. The young shortstop was hitless in his last 9 at-bats going into the ninth inning, when he doubled off the Green Monster to drive in the tying run. He'll continue his strong start to the season on Saturday vs the Rays.
