Bryan Mitchell allowed five runs on eight hits with two walks and just two strikeouts in 5 1/3 innings pitched in a no-decision Monday against the Rockies.

Mitchell found himself in trouble in the first inning of Monday's game once again, giving up four runs on four hits. He left the game in the 5th inning with the Padres down 5-4, before their impressive nine-run seventh inning.
