Phil Hughes traded to Padres

The Twins have traded Phil Hughes to the Padres in exchange for minor league catcher Janigson Villalobos and the 74th overall pick in the upcoming MLB draft. (Minnesota Star Tribune)
Fantasy Impact:
Hughes hasn't been particularly fantasy-relevant since 2014, and hasn't showed that he's capable of being an effective big league pitcher in several years. Still, a move to the Padres is always intriguing, so those in NL-only leagues can at least take note and monitor Hughes' status.
