Corbin Joseph collects hit in season debut Friday

Corbin Joseph went 1-for-4, hitting a single in his season debut Friday against the Marlins.

Corbin, brother of Caleb Joseph, was called up to start at first base while Chris Davis is given some time off the field. He managed to collect one of the few hits the Orioles bats’ squeaked out on Friday. 29 year-old Joseph has been crushing pitching in the minors this season, but it is unsure how long this call-up will last. While he’s only played in two other major league games in his career, the Orioles lineup has some glaring holes that need to be fixed.
